Any idea how many of us have vanity plates? I'd like to get rear ended shots of all the cars that do. Maybe a Vid or 2 after we're all parked at the Sask crossing as well.

This will be our first photo shoot area..

Jeff and myself wanted to enjoy the view too! Selfie...... backwards style!

As I was checking for my fake plate I found a chrome Z06 license frame I had on my LeMans Blue Z with screw cap covers ----- $10.00 for it if anyone going on the cruise wants it.

I am on holidays till Tuesday! :)

Very kind of you to mention Eric and very deserving of everyone here ...
:) My rating message just could not go without being said as I was asked "whacha doing this weekend?" by a very important customer of mine.
With a near to impossible task of trying to explain this weekend as briefly as I could, he asked if this was a "Club".
I somewhat stumbled for a reply  before answering...
"well although it might be seen as one, it's not really. It's actually a whole lot better than that".

(all this takes is Corvette Enthusiasm to be a "member")

Well said. Really a group of people that enjoy something similar more than anything.. And the similar seems to be driving vettes, socializing and BS'ing :Woohoo:

Hi everyone just got off the phone with Brian to finalize the cruise on the weekend. Here's some items to update all on some details:
There is chipsealiing going on between Sylvan Lake to west of Benalto!!!!!!!!!!!!! Because of this our drive between Red Deer and Rocky Mountain House will be as follows:
  • North on Highway 2 to Asplund Road (overpass at Blackfalds)
  • West on Asplund Road to Highway 20 and turn north
  • Turn west on to Rainy Creek Road
  • Turn south on to Highway 761 and travel south to Highway 11
  • Turn west and head into Rocky Mountain House
The Banff Jasper relay is going on Saturday so we will be passing runners between Saskatchewan Crossing and Lake Louise. Maybe have some water bottles handy and we can hand them ot as we drive by. Honk and wave!

There a 3 bridges being worked on along the Bow Valley Parkway but there are paved detours so no worries here.

We will hand out the itinerary to all and the ones staying at Lake Louise will be split so half will check in and the other half fuel up. This will reduce lines at both ends. Thanks Brian for this great idea to have everyone more oranized!
Once we are in Lake Louise there are several places to eat and see Brian's post for details. I'm confirming if we can get into the Lake Louise Ski Hill parking lot for photos but this will be based on what time we get there. Lots to do and see with old and new friends!
Brian is heading to Field to see either Emerald Lake or Takakkaw Falls. Guiiiana has never been to the mountains and he wants to show her as much as possible! Looking forward to seeing her reactions! We take our backyard for granted and will be eye opening to see it through someone who has only seen this area in pictures!

Waether looks good. Brian and I were so excited talking about the weekend and Brian said that he and Jeff were just pumped driving through last weekend talking about how it will all play out. The biggest thing I want to say is let's have fun, enjoy our time together on this adventure and remember if something changes it changes. We will adapt and move on!!

See everyone in Red Deer and then Rocky Mountain House this Saturday!!!!!!
Hey Paul.
Since the change of direction to Rocky. Approx how long of double highway do we have until single lane comes. Distance and Kms please.
Im just trying to figure out when we can get our rolling shots in.
Thanks Ken
