W/N just got a whole truckload of C8's in late last night, and mine is one of them!

Now for the bad news... They probably can't deliver any of those vehicles until GM releases an update for this recall.

I'd assume and hope it won't be too long. They wouldn't have announced it unless they had some idea of a fix. It's just how long it will take to load the software on the cars at BG. In May(?) they held cars for some sort of software update and it took them 2 weeks to do a lot full of cars. My memory of previous events is a little hazy. Anyway, they don't have too many cars in the parking lot so lets hope it's quick
They also have it as an over the air update to us owners so each dealer could ensure it is completed before delivery. Sounds like a reasonable fix.

My salesman just told me none of the cars W/N got late last night need that recall update.

That's good, I was told a few days ago that cars (at least the latest ones coming off the line) we receiving some sort of software update.
