I spoke with and visited a few and found the best for me is SERVICE CENTRE IN RICHMOND, BC | Dueck Richmond
Extremely helpful, very clean bays, kept to their schedule and knowledgeable about C8. They have at least one tech who knew the proper DCT flush and DCT replacement procedures. Service Advisor I used is Ryan Porteous.

Thanks gdb069. Did you get the name of the tech who worked on your car?

I did not but if you schedule, Ryan will make sure any work is done by the qualified tech. I watched him do oil change and DCT cannister and flush and absolutely by the book. He spent at least 1/2 hour lining up the lifts so it will not be a 30 minute oil change like my CR-V gets !!!

I had the DCT filter change done at Dueck on Marine. No issues.

Preston in Langley had no clue about what I was even asking for when I called about performing this service, on 2 separate occasions. I was astonished, since they claim that they are experienced, and even host Corvette Club meets there.

Avoid Preston!!

Price at most has gone up from $500 then, to $650-900 now. Talk about inflation. Outrageous cost for a filter change! Mine is a 2020, so it was not free.

I take my C8 to Dueck‘s in Richmond as well. I had my fuel door paint chip corrected by them as well as regular service work. On time and quality work
I had the same fuel door paint chip. I did not notice but the PPF installer (blatant promotion for Vancouver Clearbta) would not install PPF with the chip so I took it to Dueck Richmond and a lot of techs came to discuss. They did offer to replace the fuel cover and realign fuel hoses and repaint BUT I said can't we just put a drop of paint there so they provided a touch up pen and beautiful. No wonder I will take the car there forever and recommend their service.

Have any of you had issues having their C8 serviced at any lower mainland Chevy dealers? I am interested in finding one of the better C8 technicians at a Chevy dealer known for their excellent service. Any help here? Thanks!
I can indicate I have had good service at Dueck Marine.
I cannot recommend Preston Langley

Don’t forget the DCT fluid change- mine was just under a grand.

Don't get me started on why this is required every 3 years. Ohno I have started:
I checked the Tremec site and our C8 TR 9080 DCT is Fuchs Titan FL-4

Porsche recommends that transmission fluid is changed at the following intervals:
  • Boxster 986 - 90,000 miles
  • Boxster 987 - 120,000 miles or 12 years
  • Boxster 981 - 120,000 miles or 12 years
  • Cayman 987 - 120,000 miles or 12 years
  • Cayman 981 - 120,000 miles or 12 years
  • 996 - 90,000 miles
  • 997 - 120,000 miles or 12 years
  • 997 GT3 - 96,000 miles or 12 years
  • 991 - 120,000 miles or 12 years
  • Cayenne MY 03-10 - 160,000 miles or 16 years
  • Cayenne MY 11-14 - 160,000 miles or 16 years
  • Panamera 970 Manual - 120,000 miles or 12 years

The answer I got from GM is to follow the service recommendation with no real answer
The response I get on other sites is: like engine oil, the additives wear out . Huh? In a PDK it can last 12 years?
If anyone is going to the NCM bash ask the transmission engineers why 3 years?

your examples are ancient. Current 992 gen Porsche 911 PDK requires fluid change every 6 year or 60,000km

Is the 991 considered ancient? The 991 was 2011 to 2019
