peterborough airport lunch.

Success. $493.00 for the repair, including the trailer tow-in off I-75 which was not covered by CAA.

I'm southbound at 6:00 in the morning. Pray for me.

;)

Just try to be home for March 20 for our next lunch. ;) We'll be waiting. Take care.

our march 20 meet will be a good date keith. according to my calendar that's the first day of spring - hallejulah !!! :D looking forward to tomorrow boys. with any luck we may be bringing our cars in april. :seeya:

Have a great lunch tomorrow, gents. Sorry I'll miss it by about 8 hours, or so.

I'm overnighting in London, KY with the Belair on the trailer. The Tahoe is performing like a champ and my buddy Don has been a great help along the way.

We're hauling 11,000 lbs (Tahoe, trailer, Belair, two guys, purchases, tools, etc.) up and down some of the steepest 4-mile long climbs in Kentucky and the Tahoe hasn't broken a sweat. Nice and easy does it....right lane and about 5 mph under the limit. If you've done I-75 through Kentucky, you know what I mean.

Tomorrow is the border crossing and the long trek home.

Cheers. See you in March.

Glad to hear everything's going your way. So how does the car look after your inspection. Must be pretty good, if it's on the trailer.

feb 20 airport lunch.

well we will have to go a long way in order to top today's get together !!! really the ultimate in right time, right place scenario !!! once again though i need to prevail upon a kind soul to post the pics for me. i can email them to someone, there are ten i would like to post. seven of us got together today and had a ball. the grand finale was a tour of a canadian forces hercules !!! the crew had flown in from cfb trenton on exercises and were enjoying lunch in the restaurant. the man in charge [ steve ] saw the interest in the plane among our group and said how would you guys like a tour ? steve didn't have to ask twice. so there we were, a group of geezers just as wide eyed as any kindergarten kids !!! a very memorable day indeed and yet another example of what fine folks we have in the canadian forces. thanks to steve and the crew and thanks to all our forces personnel and all they do for us everyday. :canada: doug.

Sure wish you guys would consider a lunch sometime at Lindsay airport. I fly in there quite frequently and would love to meet you all.

Sad to say I cannot be there because my knees will not be OK to certify for flight. I will definitely try to make the next one.
