peterborough airport lunch.

Looks like a good time was had by all. Nice to put some faces to the names. Like Brian said; it would be great to all meet up sometime this year. And might I add; what a great guy Doug (buckhorn76) is. I bought a timing light off of him and he mailed it to me before I even got the cheque to him! That's the kind of people we have here on CCF. :D

That great guys....... Boy you guys are all old farts, not like us young "mudders" ...... ROFL
It really is nice to see another group of forum guys getting together. It will be great in the spring when maybe we can all find the time to meet up.......... CCF rocks...

must have been misspent youth brian, if i'd known i was gonna live this long i'd have taken way better care of myself...........nah !!! amen to the forum brother. :D

OK Doug, when are we getting together again? :) I never got to talk much with the guys at the other end of the table. Pat and I were there early and we sure did drink a lot of coffee.

should we see who's game for sometime toward the end of february ? hell i'm bored again already !!! doug.

Pat and Ken were two new guys to the group. Ken and I have known each other since 1960. We went to high school together, apprenticed together and he and his wife have been close friends to this day. Ken has a '69 427 Corvette, as well as an '89 and two '96 Impala SS cars for good measure. Pat, in the past, has had a couple of Corvettes and is still an NCRS member along with being an old car insurance appraiser. Again, we have known Pat and his wife for ever as my wife and Mary went to high school together. Dan's wife has a store in Brighton for the ladies who like to cross stitch. Ask your wives about that and they will explain. I can see Doug and I getting dragged down to Brighton to Dan's wife's store this summer. ;)

I gave up my winter parking spot in the 3 car garage for a crossstitch store.
Like I had a choice ?????

Now you have Doug blushing. :p I can see where if we all get together some time, the women will all be talking sewing and quilting while us guys talk about..................cars and that's not all bad. The garage was looking ripe for a possible take over for quilting so I did a preemptive strike and renovated my room in the basement and graciously gave it to Dale for her quilting. Now I'm in the middle of dry walling the garage to bring it up to snuff. :D You have to be thinking ahead of the women Dan or you end up out in the snow. :(
The end of February at the airport or where ever is fine with me. Looking forward to it really seems to shorten the winter. The last couple of months really drags. Any and all ideas are more than welcome. Wednesday was certainly enjoyable.

well gents shall we do it again ? it seems a good time was had by all [ especially keith  ] and maybe some of the fellas that couldn't make it can come for the next one. dress warmly tqrcr :D. how does wed. feb. 20 sound ? same bat time same bat channel ?

:canada: doug.

Ken is still doing some part time with World's Finest and won't be there. I'll check with Pat. Dan could tell us about his buddy Bob. I haven't heard if Eric and Rob will be coming.

well boys time is marching on after all !!! it seems we were just planning the january lunch meet and now here we are ready for next wednesday. we have a new member on the forum who works in peterborough, hopefully he can get away to join us. now we can start counting lunches instead of sleeps until we can bring our cars. the lower number sounds better !!!!! :seeya: doug.

It looks like Pat, Kent and Eric will be coming. Last fall Eric bought a supercharged 1998. I think he only had a chance to drive the car from Innisfil to Peterborough before putting it away for the winter. He's itchin'.
