... and another PDR will be running in mine too ... There is gonna be a whole lot of smiling going on ...

There is a whole bunch of Brand NEW Alberta Corvette Owners out there!!! I see the 2017's have flown off the lots with 0% this month.
With just under two weeks left ... I am almost certain this will hit 25 cars ... Imagine if it hits 30 !!!
We will be news for CNN if Trump doesn't fart on June 3rd ;)

it is still possible I will join you fellas for a day trip. not gonna book a room because of the uncertainty,
I would join up in rocky mountain house for the run to Banff, then we'll just play it by ear.

Is there any supper plans as a group in Lake Louis? Or everyone to there own? Of course I know with that many people it could be hard.

I think our count right now is 17 cars staying at Lake Louise. Other than a buffet /smorg style, I think you are right Ken. It would be tough to organize supper plans for probably close to 30 of us I'm thinking. Or at least, I wouldn't want to be the cook when we all walk in and order all at once... lol....

We still haven't decided.

I am waiting to see what the Stanley Cup Schedule is.... if there might be a game that Saturday night. If we pick the Pizza place ( it is upstairs of the lobby area ) and there is a game and many want to watch it in the basement lounge .... we screw them up if they add staff and we change our minds. Should know the schedule by later this week.

There is a bar downstairs in the hotel and has TV's I think... can't remember .... I was in it 2 years ago. It should

We will probably plan something together. Paul told me today he will be doing more thinking /planning this week.

He has already talked to the people at Sask crossing for lunch ( more staff I think ) ..... now it might be a 2-3pm lunch..... so maybe dinner could be the 7-8pm area.

Paul will be updating as he figures things out or thinks them through. He was real busy at work this past week....

There is a bonfire from 4-7pm Saturday night in the Gazebo.... maybe we could mingle in there and dinner after. Just thinking out loud.

More updates will happen.

If there are 100-200 rooms I am sure they could handle the odd surge.

I never ate in the other places.

My brother and I had natchos for dinner in the downstairs bar when we stayed there... never even went in the other food areas of the hotel.

OH, it is Paul's ( RockyPM ) Birthday tomorrow...... lets all wish him a Happy Birthday in this thread!

2 years ago the Ponoka event happened on his Bday... I brought him a cake... in my friggen ZR1 I guess.... grocery getter..... I did stop at Safeway once in it. LOL

Just curious, what's the earliest model Corvette out of the group?

Rick from Sylvan has a sweet C3 but he also just purchased a C7 as well so I'm betting the C3 will get a rest that weekend... Other than a couple C5's, I don't see anything earlier than those on the list...

Also...... I am planning to hopefully do a day trip to Lake Louise this Sunday...... to check over the route. I will visit the hotel and the bar and pizza place and so on...... We kinda know already Abraham Lake and Bow Lake will be photo shoot locations.

There is no room for a photo shoot at Morraine Lake.... but we can do a group photo at the front of the lake like we did last year.

Paul is not sure if he is gonna come with me... see how things go.
