Since you are electronics savvy it will be interesting to see if you can figure out what channels the damn things are actually on so I can tune mine. Otherwise I won't bother bringing it as I will hear is dead air LOL

I will see what I can figure out. What is the make and model of yours? UHF or VHF? AM or FM? Frequency range?

Great thanks !!!!
I can't wait to have a closer look at some of your corvettes they sure look nice in some of the pictures posted
It will be the 65 as the 61 is still under construction maybe by next year

Haha won't need a two way in the 65 the cockpit noise is a little on the high side

For Randy and everyone else with a professional radio, here are the common channels with frequencies.

GMRS/FRS FREQUENCY CHART (MHz)
CH. No CH. Freq CH. No CH. Freq CH. No CH. Freq
1 462.5625 9 467.5875 17 462.6000
2 462.5875 10 467.6125 18 462.6250
3 462.6125 11 467.6375 19 462.6500
4 462.6375 12 467.6625 20 462.6750
5 462.6625 13 467.6875 21 462.7000
6 462.5875 14 467.7125 22 462.7250
7 462.7125 15 462.5500
8 467.5625 16 462.5750
* Channels 8~14 are low-power FRS license free channels

I would suggest we use channel 5.0. Its in the 1.5 watt band and channels 8-14 are only 0.5 watts.
If you have a radio you want to bring along, set it to channel 5 and make sure there is no 5.1 or any other number after the main channel number as this .1 or .2 ( or any other decimal point) The decimal point sets the radio to only receive other radios that are on 5.1 (or .2 or .3 etc)
We can select any channel if someone thinks it would be better to use. I selected 5 so if anyone has a set of radios, they can adjust and get familiar with the functions.
Hope this will help.

Thanks so much and working on a few more people to join the happy caravan!
