Covid19 Fallout Observations

So got my shot yesterday. No muss no fuss. All in all I will give Alberta Health Services kudos. Booking was “relatively” painless and I was in and out in 15 minutes. Aside from the hoopla surrounding the Astra-Zeneca shot I took what was offered. So far, so good, and no sign of any significant mutation. I do however find myself craving rare red meat, bourbon, and I seem to be really really excited about the next full moon and when I cough it is starting to sound more like a bark mixed with a howl. No worries I am sure it will pass.

Personal choice. Decide for yourself.
Got shot with a "Pfizer Part-1 Dart" today while at my Shoppers Drug Mart.
No Drama and No Circus

A couple of follow-up shots of Scotch and Stir Fry for Supper ... and call it a day :joyful:

I think I'll be pulling up the rear on the vaccinations; not by choice, but age, demograph, etc.... freedom in September or so....., just in time to begin winter hibernation again....

Just waiting for the call for dose deux....Which is different than in university getting the dose twice....:wrong:

Got my Pfizer shot on Thursday.

No drama but I keep thinking I need to buy a Mustang for some reason, can't shake it!

Realized there must actually be a chip embedded in the vaccine shot.
Everyone is saying it is a government tracking whatnot thing.

But ... I just discovered I am now bluetooth paired
to my Wife's cell phone "Honey-Do" & "Where exactly is he" Apps

🤣

Now THAT was funny....and a bit scary...

Well....headed in for my first shot tomorrow morning. Heard on the internet that if you drink copious amounts of alcohol before the shot, it thins your blood and reduces the chance of clots by up to 70%. I am doing my best but my question is, if the the vaccine is free, should I not be reimbursed for a bottle of bourbon as well? After all, if I'm hospitalized for a blood clot, the expense to the health care system far outweighs a $90.00 bottle of Woodfords.... JMO

Had my first Pfizer shot on Saturday. No side effects other than a slightly sore arm the next day.

Got my Moderna two days ago. Feels like I took a punch from Mike Tyson in my arm. Other than that just feel a bit sluggish. My wife got the Pfizer last week. She is fine but I whine more than her. LOL

Well... first shot has been in for seven hours now and other than a swelling feeling in my head, I'm all good. Called in and they said not to worry about the headache or the eyes popping out and it should go away once my brain starts get blood flow again... No worries....If it doesn't I'm gonna get a part on the next Total Recall sequel. Just kidding guys... That's what I always look like...

I will never see advertising the same way again … is this just another way for being able to experience the (more powerful) “Corona Variant”?

Well … the Corona EXTRA is on sale this week …😂

This has been my line of defense until I have the second jab.
Worked well so far.

Covid Fallout Observation du jour ... sorry it's a long story but there is beer at the end.

One of my annual RBC (formerly Maritime) Life Insurance Policy Updates requires me to first mail my annual premium to them.
Done - used electronic bill payments through my bank instead - instant & no fee (and no stamp).

Then RBC puts it all through the annual reporting grinder to tell me the Policy Value now requires a withdrawal to keep its tax-exempt status.
Interesting is that the withdrawal needs to be twice what I just sent to them - they could not just use part of it to pay the annual premium.
Any-who, I asked for a cheque to be mailed to me instead ... however ... RBC Covid Policy has them not sending cheques in the mail.
But wait, they just asked me to send them my annual premium cheque in the mail to them to start with.
Seems RBC's Covid interpretations has some money methods going only one direction.

Then I was asked to send a void cheque to RBC in the mail ,,, er wait ... I send a cheque to you in the mail but you wont send one to me ... like wtf?
Anywho - I sent RBC an electronic void cheque by email instead - instant & no fee (and no stamp).

Just received mail from RBC today with the annual report stating that I will be receiving my withdrawal soon and confirmed the amount that would be
automatically deposited. Hmmm why could they not just put a cheque in with this report ... like wtf?

Well got my deposit and RBC used the most expensive method by wire-transferring the funds into my account and that
instantly created a $15 fee for me.
The report further stated that I will be receiving a tax-slip at the end of the year as this will be taxable income for me ...
Now wait ... there is no way for me to deduct the bank fee associated with this taxable gain. Trudeau gets more from me as a result.

Meanwhile I am still trying to figure out WHY this is fallout due to Covid ... unless the RBC mail department has a way to mail it to me.
no wonder I bank at CIBC ... lol

OK it's Bud time now because I no longer will drink Corona. Cheers!
