What are the thoughts on doing a forum area to discuss detailing etc? I have lots of questions and I'm sure such there's lots of people with answers! Thoughts? Now that we have 500 members, there should be plenty of discussion.

Hi everyone. I'm very sorry that you were all victims another forums member. As torontovette came on here just to spam our members about their own forum and had no interest in being part of our community, they have been banned. This reminds me to ask our members that if you are ever on another forum to please not spam their members about our forum. I want us to respect other forums and have them respect us in return. In a knee jerk reaction to not having this happen again, we are limiting the number of recipients that can be PM'ed at once. If you have something that everyone needs to know, send it to us and we'll get it down the pipeline. Keep it nice, but what are your thoughts?

Starting today, if you access http://www.canadiancorvetteforums.com from your cell phone browser, you will be greeted with a mobile version of the site which should run quite well on the phone. So far it has been tested on Blackberries, but it would be nice to hear from people with other phone models to see how it runs on them. iPhones will still access the full site. Enjoy!

Hey everyone! I hope you are all enjoying your summer so far. We have moved the "Corvette Technical" section into its own category now, and split it into two sections: Corvette Tech Guides and Corvette Tech Questions The Tech Guides section is for you to post and find guides on how to repair or diagnose specific problems. The Tech Questions section is for you to seek out help with something that hasn't yet been posted to the "Guides" section. What we would like is if you have to end up doing some work to your car yourself, that you can post a guide, preferably with pictures, so that other people can easily find information on the same subject. Three or four times now I've written a post consisting of more than one sentence only to discover that when I hit the "Post Response" button I get a message informing me that I am not logged in. I was when I started the post so what gives? It's annoying to have to redo the log-in each time. :mad: Is there is a timer in play that automatically logs out users after a pre-determined time? If there is then I respectfully suggest that the allowable time be extended to 20 or 30 minutes. :confused: Thanks.

The admin doesn't post too too much so do we know the admin as another member?? Just curious :D Where is the site based from? Sask? GTA?
