It seems to me you only start to notice them once you have one. That goes for all types of cars.I'm near Ottawa and I rarely go far. The GF doesn't like car rides and just going to Montreal is a big thing thing for her.
I've seen a lot of porches on the road lately, mostly suv type and 2 sports car riding the snow. One of them was a customer last summer.
I saw a Hell cat this week if I haven't incorrectly identified it.
Mustangs...they are plentiful on the road all year round.
It may sound like a bold statement but I saw as many (2 lambos and 1 ferrari) combined as C7's last summer. For sure next summer I will change my tune on these numbers because I will be paying more attention.
OK ... officially notedHere take a look at the dirt and salt from the towing trip, I won't be able to wash it for another 1.5 - 2 months!

Spence and I got caught in the ... But if you have no choice it's not a big deal..

What was that VIN number?
We keep track of this for when people ask our opinion when a used corvette is up for sale.
For the record, my corvettes are spotless, under real nice covers, connected to battery maintainers ... etc etc etc
Aweee Tango, that will change once you get out in your Vette. Next thing ya know, you'll be picking up cleaning and detail supplies everywhere. The cleaner the car, the bigger the smiles...i think that's how it goes....yeah that's it.
OCD's (Obsessive Corvette Disorder) on the way. He just doesn't realize it yet !! I've never seen a dirty Vette.... Except mine after I come back from a 30kms trip...and then I clean it.
I looked at a few detailing videos last night and I was just anxious and uneasy thinking of all the time it takes to properly shine a black car.
On the other hand the OCD thing may have started already, not the cleaning the exterior paint but I ordered 2 die casts one of them I'll paint the seats red and I emptied out a whole Hot Wheels bin at a local toysrus , do you know how many there are in there! I'm not sure if the clerks were peeking at me looking for treasure. Alas no success I think the sting ray batch was in 2013.
Now that's a tip Axe. You mean that $30 box with the clay bar and a cloth is only worth a couple bucks.... Damn. Man. You should delete this post right now and start packaging and selling clay bars..... hmmmmm.....OT.
Clay bars and plumbers putty work the same. You won't feel sad at all tossing 35 cents worth of putty if you drop it.
Yes indeed. Someone gave me the tip, I'm just passing it along. I bought a tub of putty and tried it on my truck, in a small spot to see. Same outcome. I'll do the whole thing in the spring.
As for the cloth in the clay bar kit?...lol.
The spray? Just add 2 drops of dish detergent in a spray bottle of tap water.

DO NOT USE DISH DETERGENT ON THE PAINT OF YOUR CAR OR TRUCK!
Dish detergent will strip your paint of the protective oils. Only use a car shampoo that's designed for washing cars.
Clay bar is not washing EJ. It is intended to strip all environmental impurities, including your protective waxes to the clear coat. I agree that dish detergent is also a stripper and will remove your wax during a regular wash if not careful but in this application, I don't have a problem using it as a lubricant.
