How profound….
$45/L ?????45$ a litre is not cheap!
It makes ZERO, I repeat ZERO difference before or after storage! There are far greater things to worry about! Please help me understand. We're driving $100K+ cars and you guys are fretting about an extra oil change ($125) when you put it away for the winter? Like was said previously......Oil's cheap, motors aren't.
I have always changed oil immediately before I put mine away for the winter. Fresh oil through the motor and sitting in the sump for the winter makes sense to me.
Hmmm…oh ya , November 5 .It makes ZERO, I repeat ZERO difference before or after storage! There are far greater things to worry about!
My local garage told me 425$ for an oil change and dealers it is about 350$. As for this discussion, it is about bull.... needing an oil change. Oil last way longer than our dealers , manufacturers etc... say. Please help me understand. For 6 litres of the oil recommended for our cars .97$?
Shouldn’t be a problem. He drives more than that in an afternoon…. As for down there , six on one side half a dozen on the other.Yeah, kinda dreading the outcome. At least you're like 12000 miles away from the drama (except for Alaska). I know a guy who has a guy that could probably drive you that far in 2 days though lol...
My local garage had told me 45$ a quart/ liter. For 6 litres of the oil recommended for our cars .
I would find a new garage….and the oil filter I believe is about $12.00 . If you know someone with a hoist or somewhere you can rent one you can change your own for pretty cheap. It’s the transmission fluid that is expensive. My local garage had told me 45$ a quart/ liter.

Why is it 350 at the dealer? As for my local, he always had better prices on jobs or tires wheels etc... I think the oil he would get is by quarts and not 45 gallons like a dealer. Anyway it doesn't matter, he told me to go to my dealership because it would be cheaper than him.I hope your didn't write your garage a favourable Yelp! review. Make stop wearing fluorescent clothing. They see you coming a mile away...
