I had the pleasure of greating Richard (LEBARON) in his Corvette Racing Yellow Tintcoat Stingray out of Quebec as out 1st hotel check in this afternoon. Welcome to Winnipeg more importantly welcome to "Meet in the Middle"

Day 2 driving is done. Sault Ste. Marie to Thunder Bay. Rain off and on most of the day. We had a close encounter with a cow moose, good thing we were slowing down already for bridge construction. Visibility was sketchy at times. Sandy had us off roading going to an Amethyst mine.

Awesome picture from Calgary, safe drives everyone. Watch your speed both sides of Virden MB. In most cases 10 to 12K over they will leave you alone, 15 plus and they will stop you.

Virden is my hometown. Got a lot of demerits there in my younger years.

New update for Saturday caravan cruise out to Bernie & Bev's for the BBQ.
If everyone (including me, as I have a lot to do after autocross is over) maybe we can all meet in the parking lot for a 4:00PM (10 minutes earlier) departure cruise to the BBQ location?
We will travel about 10 kilometers further East then we need to verses turning off to the BBQ venue and use this time to organize the Corvettes for a photo shoot at this location.
After all this is what the event revolved around. How is everyone with that thought? There is a hard packed gravel service road we can safely pull onto for this opportunity.

Great Idea.

We're in for 2 hot heat warning days here in Winnipeg, drink lots of water and remember we have 2 mini beer kegs for the Saturday BBQ so everyone is welcome to a glass or 2, don't want to encourage over drinking.

It has been great to meet everyone and check out the cars.

Cars are all snuggled together on their own level of the hotel parkade with drive by security every 15 to 30 minutes to boot. The car owners have it pretty good here too.
