Well.. MITM was a great success and a great time was had by all. Today everyone is bolting in various directions with some good memories and many new friends in their contacts. It was great to see some new friends from the US join us as well.
I want to thank the CCF members who made the journey as we had a good showing by a great group who represented CCF very well. Riley and Eric it was excellent for us to meet you both and to have all those laughs. Thanks for helping out with handing out awards and saying a few words on behalf of CCF.
Also a big big thanks to Wayne and his friends here in the Winnipeg area who showed up in droves to support the events and enjoy the weekend. Wayne did a fantastic job here in Winnipeg and none of this would have been possible without his efforts. Great job Wayne and pass on our special thank you to the volunteers who stood in the heat all day doing the autocross.
The venue here in Winnipeg was perfect for the events. Literally everything right here. The group meal Friday night in the hotel/casino was spectacular. The room was excellent and well staffed. We had a dedicated level in the parkade out of the sun for detailing and the exit was right into the Show and shine/autocross areas. The hotel was very nice and the casino was open 24/7 for the weekend.
A special thanks to Bev and Bernie. They have a beautiful place and made us feel totally welcome for the BBQ. Wonderful folks.
Ken, Barry, Dan and Andy’s businesses sponsored all the food for the BBQ and spent time with us through the weekend. Great food lots of laughs, and a big thanks.
Jeffy and Andy did a super job with judging the Show and Shine. Plenty of laughs were had and wow we got to see some amazing Corvettes.
The Autocross was well run and really exciting to watch. These guys really get into the throttle and brakes. Providing ride alongs for those with strong stomachs. Everyone who went on a ride along had some shakey legs after.
All in all a fantastic time in literally perfect location with great weather.

Today Spence is off with his caravan to his southern tour home.

Safe travels home everyone. :canada:

There will be plenty of pictures popping up from some much better photographers than me. (Freda)

A lot of us left the BBQ a little early looking at radar. 30 miles out it didn’t look good but it had pretty much broken up by the time it got to Winnipeg.
