VISIT A TROPICAL BEACH less than 90 minutes east I think is grand beach
fine and white sand and I would like to visit, so where do we or the organizers put the info pauls post was helpful for mileage and times and this one for activities, would be a nice picture maybe we can get the city of winterpeg or the tourist bureau or someone to sponsor our photo shoot for beer, supper or 1/2 off hotel as where R U going to get 30 corvettes at one time in Canada ever, just a thought
more on the beach from the local folks thanks Jeffy went to hospital today for 3 hours and they rejected me and told me just corvette winter blues

Gents your efforts in organization of the kick off points for the Alberta gang, group, flock.... as long as it is not called “club” is going great.
Spence your new thread for the Calgary start and stopover for the BC guys is a good plan to focus the planning.
What a great bonus having the Stampede going on that weekend too for people to come and enjoy along the way. Full check marks there
Eric and others have sent me messages with suggestions that will work good too. So feel free to start threads for your groups kick off point.
I will insert links to your threads on the upcoming event page so we can all easily navigate through to them.
So the common theme here is Moose Jaw has been determined to be our meeting point in Saskatchewanawanawanawan which I believe a hotel is being approached for a room rate, bikini car wash and drag strip. Riley and Eric are on this one.
I expect they will have details soon.
I see no issues with smaller groups leaving Alberta together from different cities and all of us meeting in Moose Jaw for an evening of meeting old and new friends, whining about rock chips and general jokualarity. I’m seriously looking forward to this part of the trip.
So all is well and despite the heart wrenching dismay of sadly looking over while walking by the love of your life all covered up in the garage... spring is coming. (For those of you who do not associate this with your Corvette... consider throwing her another blanket as it’s damn cold right now in most garages)

I would just like a confimation of the date we will be returning to our homes in Alberta. Going to book my holidays at work as of tommorow, and just want to be sure of time alloted. I see we are to stay the night in Calgary, Wednesday July 11. Are we returning home July 15 or will it be a day later? Thx

I think this might be what Derek has in mind to pinning-down when he is next back into the AB time zone ...
if it helps - yes you have the July 11th Calgary Option which is set in stone.
I have July 17th or 18th for my return via a USA route so that I can be flexible for anything that might pop up and assuming a July 15th departure.
There should be most certainly more direct returns in mind by others.

Ziggy the events are set up in Winnipeg for the Friday night and the 14th Saturday. So the 15th Sunday is a breakfast/travel home day or whatever the guys want to do.

Hey guys just reading the forum .Couple requests already done.. since my earlier posts i have joined the man corvette club.. grand beach the 11th wonder of the world is just over 1 hour from hotel u r at(NOT doing the speed limit) hotel is very nice and attached to largest casino in town. Someone above was asking for beer. Done! one of my buddies runs one of the brewery's here in the peg and i tactfully weaseled a keg out of him that will be at hotel. As far as 30 corvettes it will be more like 60. the vette show i did go to for the man corvette all corvette show, there was 36 cars reading there monthly blog. apparently there was at least 1/2 dozen that could not make it. it has been cold here warmed up today, got the bug reading all this Dewitts had a sale on. bought a new rad, then of coarse u need a matching carburetor right, so ordered one of those as well.. just because the canadian dollar is the best it has been for a while. that cured my winter blues.
