E-Ray OFFICIAL LIST of who is on the list? who is staying? who is dropping?

For the list keeper, I am now (Mar 18th/23) listed with Jeff Easton, of Brian Cullen Corvette, St. Catherines, for an E-Ray, and separately for a Z06.
Roughly, I'm #74 for the E-Ray, and #200 for the Z06.
With my concept being to have one of these in my driveway on retirement, I may very well have to consider working longer.

You are talking many years I think? I hope it works out for you? I have given up. I don't think I will long enough to get either - 74 YY - LOL.

We have extensive waiting lists of Stingrays and Z06 models, all coming out of a single plant, which cannot keep up production now.
It only stands to reason that the introduction of the E-Ray, even in minimal numbers produced, will lengthen the waiting time for the others.
While I am sure those waiting on a Stingray or Z06 will not be pleased, so long as it's a minor inconvenience, they won't abandoned ship.

In contradiction to this is GM's proclamation of going electric for the future.
For it, or against it, I think this is inevitable
If the E-Ray is the stepping stone in the Corvette line up to electrification, how can It be stymied by only producing minimal quantities?

Further, I have difficulty imagining that with all the research and 'hoopla' put into this venture, that GM will leave the project idle.
My opinion is that once on the market, the E-Ray will be produced at a very significant pace.
This pie is only so big - where does this E-Ray slice come from?

Like many, I'm on several lists, both E-Ray and Z06, because, quite frankly, I don't have a clue.

I think E-Ray will be the most profitable C8 variant followed by Z06 then Stingray. Both Z06 and future E-Ray will take away from Stingray production. The supply and demand in US is much better than it is in Canada as we only got 3.9% of C8s produced in 2022. For example: Dodge just announced that Canada will get 9.1% of the final run of the limited edition 1025hp Challenger.

Its my opinion that as we are starting to see C8 Stingrays on US dealer lots, GM will shift to less Stingray production and ramp up Z06 and E-Rays. It would be a major fail should GM not pump out a number of these E-Rays initially because they want guys like me who intend to daily drive it to market that car (could be just a coincidence but GM liked my post on daily driving the car here in the Canadian winter).

So far GM have produced more C8s in a single year for the car than any other (currently):
Stingray - 28,031
Stingray 70th - 3,041
Z06 - 1,089
Z06 70th - 164

Plus they will continue to build right up to the tentative July 10th date...

The SR HTC limited the number of SR coupes pissing off SR coupe buyers.
The 70th production pissed off non-70th buyers.
The Z06 pissed off everyone else.... and so it goes.
At the end of the day GM still builds as many as they can and they don't really seem to care who the piss off. lol

I am pissed off at myself for not getting my name in at as many dealers as possible, early enough. Either of these cars (Z06 & E-R) will be quite expensive out here in Lotus Land after all the taxes.

Only the 70th pissed me off. ..........the car I really wanted. Happy with the Z06.......
