Current BG production estimate

I believe that the cars are invoiced once produced and they have a VIN at 3800 status
Then the cars are bayed and the time frame being bayed is QC and shipping.
4B00 means the car is produced and waiting to be shipped QC can happen during this time.
4200 they are shipped via rail or truck depending on where they are going.
I am not an expert but from reading the blogs that my interpretation.

Here is a link to check out
There is quite a few more status code numbers. Here is a few key ones:
3300: Order scheduled for production
3400: Order Broadcast (this is normally when BG or your dealer gets the VIN)
3800: Vehicle Produced
4B00: Vehicle Bayed
4D00: On Hold at Plant (QC Hold)
4150: Vehicle Invoiced
4200: Vehicle Shipped
5000: Vehicle at Dealer
6000: Vehicle Delivered to Customer

Of note. Vehicle is not invoiced until ready to ship. (event codes 4150 and 4200 typically happen almost simultaneously)

Invoiced means the car will ship. They don't invoice until the car is available for the dealer.
The car is built what do you expect they are going to keep it ! My car is sitting at the plant and the dealer has the invoice. With the logic you are applying the car would arrive on the lot with the invoice. That’s when the car is available for the dealer.

24443 > 24602 = 160

So does 4D00 mean please call our service department your car coded all over the place when we started it :p
Our service techs are currently ripping out your interior :(

I hope not, LOL. But, yeah, Murray and others on here can elaborate, but, Quality Control can last an extra day to many weeks (rare, but it happens).....

I guess it's better to happen where they are built than at the dealers lot. The guys that built it probably are the best at fixing it !

Exactly. BG never releases a car if there is any issue what-so-ever!

Wow more status codes than anyone wanted

On an American dealer website there is a vin of 26127. That would make it's build day Wed. Sept 8th. So IF BG can get back to full speed and stay there then, yes, we could see 22's arrive in Canada mid September. Assuming at least one Canadian 22 will be built day 1 or 2.
