Me being the guy I am, couldn't wait... just got off the phone with order management. I have a TPW of August 3rd. for my Torch Red Vert.

I just contacted my dealer and asked for the dealer number so I could call order management. He told me my car is in "bayed" status which means it is built. They have the vin as well. not sure if it is truly done but sounds very promising. My original TPS was March 23 just after the shutdown. Man I hope this is accurate and it is built and soon to be on its way. I keep an eye on the shipping lists on the forum and will go through the roof when I see it.

Checking on cooper your vin 1G1Y72D43L5103985 is pending. I believe that means it's been released to Cooper transport

You are going to have to break it in by driving up here! I'm at Davis and Durham 30. Easy to get here from there. I still haven't seen a C8 in real life.

Really!, I did not know that Murray. I will put you on the milk run when mine comes too. My wife would not let me pull the trigger sight unseen. We had to drive down to VanBortels near Palmyra, NY. Put order in the next day!

I'd love that. I was late to the party. Not being a vette guy I never heard a sniff about a mid engine vette. When I finally heard about it it took about a week to talk myself and my wife into buying one and put a deposit down July 30. lol. Sold her car a couple of weeks later.

for sure I will. Looks like we have similar builds. I cant remember what all the codes are but i have a red z51 2lt highwingh two tone black red interior GT2 seats carbon fibre interior trim and appearance package and a few other things I cant remember them all.

I'm torch red alright, but no Zed51 Black carbon flash 5 spokes, front lift and performance exhaust.
Are you going to sell your Z51 wing?

That's funny, I went to Van Bortels as well, then the BUFFALO auto show and then I saw a HTC in the parking lot at BGA. I saw a Torch Red C8 with CF high wing in Welland last week. Good times!

Thanks. I was torn about the z51, but opted for the all season tires instead. I'm going to have to wait until I get my car though. I want to see what it looks like without.
