How could you have official pricing when it hasn't been released yet? We don't have it. There's been no word on Canadian pricing aside from what was released last month.

Also, how can you know your allocation for the 2nd phase of the 2020MY Corvette. This is more information that has not been released in Canada.

This all sounds very suspicious.

@Nik what do you think?

the incompetent Sherwood park, chev had there second allocation numbers approved 4 weeks ago as told to me by the head guy trying to sell me a 2020 in person on a Thursday am. Jeff
If they were telling the truth, why hasn't any other dealership in Canada received their allocation numbers for phase 2 yet?

only list is the immediate sales managers pipeline which he flows throught a hpuse mouse sales man to collect commisions back. incompetency and corruption at best. were even paid in full or above msrp wong get you above. salesman there cannot even sell it. lol

Is this even English?

Fact: Entering the 2019 Corvette Sales Season (spring), the dealership with the largest inventory in Canada was Capital Chevrolet in Calgary, AB with 69 units. The second largest inventory was Bill Spencer Chevrolet with 50 units.

Fact: At the end of June, 2019, the top three New Corvette Sales dealerships across Canada were Wilson Niblett in Richmond Hill, ON, Brian Cullen Motors in St. Catherine's, ON, and Bill Spencer Chevrolet in Cobourg, ON.

Fact: Corvette allocation is based on SALES of new Corvettes, with reasonable gross. Dealers that sell them too inexpensively lose allocations. Dealer trading away Corvettes loses allocations.

Fact: Final Canadian pricing has NOT been released yet.

Fact: Second half of allocation for Canada has NOT been released yet.

I'm not one to shoot down other people, but I will do so if I feel it is in good faith. There's a lot of hot air being blown around all of the sudden. Salespeople have a bad reputation for making stuff up in an effort to sell more cars. I'm suspicious that this is a similar case.

All dealerships get the same information at the same time. I've been keeping a sharp eye on all updates coming directly from GM. The only information I do not have direct access to is the information that is shared by our regional reps as they visit the dealerships - often behind closed doors with the management team. This is where the first allocation numbers came from, but all regional reps visited each dealership as quickly as they could to share this information. If it has been released for the second half, we would have heard about it by now.

Without ALL the facts...it's just conjecture
Finch/London w/18 1st½ allocations...plausible Sherwood Park has 28
How many did Cullen get? Their 2 Corvette Specialists sure talk a good story.
How many for Capital?

Each dealership was told directly how many allocations they got. It wasn't a blanked annoucement. I can only say how many Bill Spencer Chevrolet got.

my first 28 allocations are 98% complete with 2 pots left on initial stingray

Alex (if that's the real name) I believe you should be clear on the rules around business promotion as you were cautioned and warned abundantly previously. You've been temp banned effective immediately. Please reach out to [email protected] to discuss how to prevent this from becoming a permanent ban.

Just from reading the posts here, too much he said she said going on. Some replies don't make much sense. I think buyer beware is foremost for anyone planning on a C8 purchase. Do your due diligence prior to signing any agreement and handing over cash. Looks like it may be quite a while before we see a C8 in Canada given the strike and we are a small market. I think any dealer that will be showcasing a C8 will announce it prior to actually having the car. I would speak with the sales manager if I felt I was getting the run around. Just my 2 cents.

Wise words.

Hefner07...gone with the wind

Fear not you're not going crazy (today). :)
I did some autumn cleaning and removed a number of posts that were irrelevant or in breach of our rules.

Sorry about the confusion that's about to cause.

Whew!! I was hoping I was ok!
That was some rough reading late last night! lol.
Did ISO get whacked by the ban hammer also?

Any temp or permanent bans are always shown on the member profile or in the member postbit in each message. Warning and explanation have been issued to all authors of infringing content.

ISO was not banned to answer your question.

We almost never flex the ban muscle unless absolutely necessary and as a result of repeated infractions and warnings.

Hi everyone. I am in the Toronto area. Does anyone know when a c8 will be in the area to see in person? I apologize for asking something that likely already has been asked. I am a noob on this site (and at using forums in general).
