Great nostalgia. Where and when was this? By the way this was the start, you don't have to tell us about the finish.....LOL
I'm sure it was likely just Cayuga test and tune. Mid 70's judging by my wheels.

I know this is getting way off topic, but you absolutely must take your C8 to the drags. On street tires there is absolutely nothing you can do to harm your car and it's a blast to actually run the quarter mile with no fear of cops behind you etc.
I've raced almost every car I've owned in one form of racing or another. Most fun you can have with your clothes on!
Here's me in my Duster losing to a modified Barracuda.

I definitely would if I were close enough to a track. May look into making that happen on a future road trip. The Duster is a much better looking vehicle if that’s any consolation, lol .

Here are the last four of the top eleven at Mecum. As you can see the prices are falling, but still pricy.

Is there something different with that one I think...60's rear end and 50's front? I could be wrong
Looks like you got that right. Here's a '60 -see red one below and a '62 - see yellow. Notice the trim inside the cove on the 1960 that is missing from the '62.
