I know this is getting way off topic, but you absolutely must take your C8 to the drags. On street tires there is absolutely nothing you can do to harm your car and it's a blast to actually run the quarter mile with no fear of cops behind you etc.
I've raced almost every car I've owned in one form of racing or another. Most fun you can have with your clothes on!

I definitely would if I were close enough to a track. May look into making that happen on a future road trip. The Duster is a much better looking vehicle if that’s any consolation, lol .

By the recent posts it would appear the corvette is a very rich mans hobby. Its a good thing there are lots of C4's 5's and 6's out there that can be had for a lot less.... and you won't be afraid to drive them.

Looks like you got that right. Here's a '60 -see red one below and a '62 - see yellow. Notice the trim inside the cove on the 1960 that is missing from the '62.

Nope, in 1962, they had the four light front and rear was the same as '63 to 67.I kinda like this C1 best(IMO).
