5th Annual Ponoka Meet and Greet

The Ponoka members put on a free burger and hot dog BBQ (with water or soda) at noon, and have a donation jar for a local charity...I think last year it was the food bank... other than that, and the Black tie and Tux dress code, we're a pretty laid back bunch...

I could have speculated and appreciate the reply ... very kind of these folks in Ponoka.
So I will wash my black jeans and black t-shirt - good thing my Piloti's are black ... and print up some cash :)
This forum has been the communication source for this good time event, so I do believe a follow-up contribution to it will also be in order too.
Thank you!
:Cheers2:

Just in case anyone has developed the extremely bad habit of taking me seriously, there is NO dress code for the Ponoka meet and greet... lol...

Oh definitely ... :worship:I was appreciating your wit ...
and might have dropped a hint on my attire only because it might be embarrassing if someone was to wear the same outfit as me ...

... I smile thinking of who might be wearing the most Corvette logos ?

Can I make the suggestion that someone edit the first post to include the meeting spots for group travel? Southern Alberta guys are going to meet at the Wendy's in Airdrie (Petro Can) parking lot which is right across the road from Tim Horton's, and immediately off the second exit (East Lake) when heading north through Airdrie. I should be there by shortly after 7, and we shall plan to be northbound by 7:45 - 8:00am to meet up with the Red Deer crew at A&W Gasoline Alley at 9:00am. Riley, Dub and any others coming from the east have a meeting point to add? Garry, Marty, and anybody from the north?

I can't believe this is only a week away! Just a couple of days ago I was shoveling snow, and you guys want me to take my Corvette out of the garage? LOL. I guess I'd better plug in a heater and start putting it back together.

I'll help you gents out and blast out a newsletter in the next few days (once the new newsletter functionality is put in) to the membership. Sort of a beta test.

Say what mustang was in on one of the first get together I remember it was. Nice and forget what it was,

Only thinking of this due to the high demand for autographs of the stars above, do not know if I can put up with all the fame on that day, need to rethink this, maybe the stopping of cars when we leave is just to ensure we get outa town?

Later and year and specs of that mustang please jeff

The Mustang belongs to a local friend, He was the Gentleman playing guitar last year at the Meet.
Not sure what year it is or the specs other than it;s supercharged.

He should be there again this year.
