And with just over 2 weeks to go...
Hezzy decides to do an engine swap.
While investigating an oil leak I found a huge score in cylinder #1. This engine was bored .060 already so its at its limits for machining.
Very depressing....
Ive ordered a Stage 1 performance engine from a shop in Stoney Plain. They tell me it will be ready by the end of next week.
this engine was an experiment from the get go so Im not too stressed about loosing it. just sucks that I have to spend more $$$.

right now its a "so far so good" thing.
one more pic i just took of cylinder 1. It seems the wrist pin broke loose and has been floating back and forth. Same scar on the opposite side of the cylinder. Lucky it didnt lock up.....
