4TH Annual Cambridge Coping Center Corvette Chartity Show

Sounds like a great cause! I'll try my best to make it to this event! I'm off work on the 28th, so I can't see it being a problem.

l'll try to be there, complete with camera or two.

We're all hoping you, Wayne, and indeed everyone can make it to this fun and worthwhile event.
......and a camera in each hand would be even better!:D

I for one am really looking forward to this event, to meeting everyone and to seeing all their rides and mods.
I'm also hoping that we're blessed with a decent day weather-wise to make it a perfect event.

Cheers,
Colin

I met the owner of the Self Storage location on Franklin Blvd, last evening at Manny's. Pretty sure he said his name is Steve and is a friendly, helpful chap who very graciously again donated his location for the Coping Charity event and for all of us to show off our rides on the 26th of May.

Had a great time at Manny's of course but I keep bumping into folks with mutual friends.

Very engaging fellow is Steve. We'll see him at the event I hope and chat some more.

In case any of you need to know where the event is and what the event is in aid of here's a couple of links for location and history on COPING.
It'll save having to go back to the first of the thread for the info.

Welcome To Coping

Spoke with the fine peeps at COPING today to confirm the 'COPING and Corvette Charity Show' on May 26th at Franklin Self Storage.

All is a go and I asked about the Corvette raffle tickets (3 issued for the $20 entrance). They go towards a draw November 3rd at a wrap-up COPING event and draw at THE PINES on Fountain st. (where King meets Fountain) -- (was the Knotty Pine Restaurant)

So there's a little preamble to the final COPING event of the year similar to the event at Whistle Bear Golf Course last year in November.

ONce again, don't forget the event at Franklin Self Storage on May 26th - 8am to 12noon. -- It's a fundraiser in aid of our COPING organization of Cambridge setup to help bereaving folks who have lost loved ones.

At the event in May there is a Corvette show and competition for best all round Corvette (some of you will remember that Manny won last year- kudos Manny) and other fun events and good foods.

For the very reasonable $20 fee to participate, you'll get 3 tickets for the grand prize draw of a Centennial edition Grand Sport ($83k+) -- More tickets will be available to purchase to up your chances of winning in November.

We're expecting a great turnout and I, for one, am looking forward to meeting everyone and checking out their rides and mods, so come on out and help a great cause..COPING, and also support your friendly Corvette community to.:D

I'll post up another reminder closer to the event -- All details of location and event are in my sig.
If you have any questions, don't be shy -- Manny and I have all the info you need.
Only thing we don't know is who the lucky winner will be of that beauty Grand Sport.:D

Colin.

Follow the link and check out the GS that founder, Glen Crichton told will be there May 26th for all to see. What a beauty!
Only 33k tickets will be sold for the final draw in November at The Pines.

A special thanks to Tony Campbell and his wife who own the Franklin Self Storage for donating their time and facilities for this worthwhile event. Cheers Tony.
