***4th Annual Cambridge Coping Center Charity Corvette Show Saturday May 26th,2012***

Hi eveyone just wanted to get the date up for the 4th Annual Cambridge Charity Corvette Show Saturday May 26th,2012 8:00 am till noon

This show is to support the Cambridge Coping Center. This is an organization that helps childeren and adults who have lost a loved one .
Glen Crichton & Tony Campbell the organizer's has again asked for my help to get the cars out to the show.
Last year's show was a great success and we hope to build on that this year .

DATE : SATURDAY MAY 26, 2012
LOCATION : CAMBRIDGE, ONTARIO, FRANKLIN STOREALL (ON FRANKLIN BLVD) just off the 401 .
TIME IS 8AM TO 12PM

The entry is again $20.00 for which you will recieve 3 tickets for a 2012 C6 100 Year Anniversary Edition Grand Sport Corvette give away .
Great time with free Tims coffee as well as lots of Corvette's , and great people .

Please plan on being there with us this May 26th
 
This sounds like the kind of event I would be interested in attending.
For me at least; this may be my first time out to something like this. As a new/first owner of a corvette, this might be a great way to meet all of you guys and have a nice ride in my machine to boot........I'll be watching to learn more as the time goes on.

Tony -- the fall fundraiser was a different event tho the same organization: Coping.

This May event is the same as last year's Corvette fundraiser show, tho I missed it. Hope you can make it tho it'll be an early start for you.

I know it's a little early but I'll be taking my camera if one or 2 others would too and we can take pics this year.

Not sure if any were taken last year but none were posted in the event thread.
I was trying to find some to show Margaret. I did find the googlemap street view of the Store All facility at the corner of Franklin and Stafford tho and as Manny says it's not far down from the 401 between the first and second traffic light on the left (east side).

If anyone has any of those pics from last May -- would you either post them in last year's thread or let me know and maybe you can email them to me.

Yes, I checked back and there was this 'show' last
year at the end of may; and then the other one in late summer.Thanks for input.

I'll be there!.....I WISH!!!!!! It sucks that this country is so big sometimes! I'm glad to hear of shows coming up. It makes the winter seem like it's that much closer to being done.

Guys - I want to attend this for sure..... so as a newbie ..... how does it work.... I bring my vette down, pay the 20 bucks and hang out and meet all you folks ? Any good spots to stay the night before so I dont have to come down from here at o dark 30 in the morning ? Worst case I can come down morning of but would be rather come down the night before and have a pop or two :D

lots of spouses too ?

Hey Duff, That's it man...come in park get a ticky and hang, eat, chat, look, take pics -- Manny knows the exact course of events since he's done it many times b4.
Oh yeah there's a prize for best showing 'vette and many other activities.

It's easy to find and within a short distance of accommodation, no worries.

Glad to hear you plan to make the trip....It'll be a fun day, tho as you say early.

If you need details of accommodation and directions just holler.

and oh yes, spouses too.....

Good plan.......would like that. Maybe Manny can take a few minutes off and come too. Timmies is never too far for sure and he's only a few minutes from that same area also.
