Winter Add Ons

2024 I believe … would make for a good circle drive for me as I do have my pit stop in NB now. Hopefully much of this covid drama is done for border crossing by then.
2024 would be the 30th anniversary of the National Corvette Museum (NCM),
I was there for the 25th in 2019. Well worth it. While you are there plan on doing the Tail Of the Dragon which is not to far away. Approx 325 curves over 11 miles. I missed out on it unfortunately.
You'll probably have to reserve a room well in advance. I went down with the Ontario Caravan and had to put the money up front in October for the room in July. And they are expensive. But Hey! You'll probably only do it once. I don't regret it.

My winter add on is a 4 post lift in my shop. :Hurray:
Congrats Rruuff Day.... you wont regret it, I love mine! As far as winter add ons.... nothing at the moment. I might finally start restoring a 1936 Tokheim gas pump which I have had for at least 20 years... maybe I can call that my winter project add on... if I get it done.... LoL

Mine: black front shields to protect radiators from Paragon Performance (not cheap but fasten in behind grill without tie downs) and mud guards from ACS.

Even though my “go to” place on the US East Coast has transitioned toward making a lot of real exposed carbon fibre Corvette C8 parts, I am still keeping them busy as I afford more parts for my C7. There is no compromising for real carbon fibre. I have one “fake/simulated” piece on my c7 and hate it. This winter will be for final fitment of these fuel rail covers that I just got delivered. They turned out absolutely awesome and feather light. I have raised “Corvette” lettering on order in both Black and the OEM Red colours. Will decide on lettering once I actually see it on these covers … super expensive and hoping this turns out really good as I budget toward my next part to be fabricated for next year’s East Coast stay in New Brunswick.

They look great Sp.
Thank you Rruuff. Wasnt sure if it was a good idea to still post this very very expensive winter add on addiction. Have a YYC friend with a C3 that is getting a full compliment of it. His overall work was just featured in Corvette Magazine a few months ago. Vety talented young man with making his own real carbon fiber pieces as I am pretty much only good with installing a fabricated carbon fibre part.
Seen a bit of the c8 pieces my fabricator makes but am told it’s a very small market demand for them compared to the work that they do for the exotics. 💰
