Likely due to the low sidewall ? Must have been a steep edge on the pot hole. 50 kph isn’t particularly fast. It’s probably the speed that most miles are driven in a lot of vehiclesHit a pothole at 50 KPH if I recall correctly

Dealer says it happens a lot with the low profile tires. Even on trucks.Likely due to the low sidewall ? Must have been a steep edge on the pot hole. 50 kph isn’t particularly fast. It’s probably the speed that most miles are driven in a lot of vehicles
Ya true. I was lucky I had the PDR running with sound. It was quite the bang. Not sure the region would pay for something like this, but it's also worth a shot.Yours didn't, Uxbridge paid for it...
Swine .Hoping I won’t be writing a tire-thread of my own as this inside & out empty “house-flipper” reno moves along next door … a “nightly elf” has been tossing the yard waste into the bin … must be coming across as magic to them

Ya, met “the flipper” and introduced myself and he did not respond with his name. Kinda sets the tone off the get-go hey. This will never change who I am though as I don’t hold my breath for good fortune of any nature to be returned from my “pay-it-forward” gestures like this. Hoping for a good neighbour soon though and one that never asks to borrow my toolsSwine .
Call outlets like 1010tire.ca as some might have stock that dealers are not privy too. Dealer is basically saying no supply from distribution warehousing. Dealers rarely supply to other Dealers with low supply. You will find this every winter tire season too. This is how I got my AS4s for my c7 in October 22 when everyone was saying no stock. A lotta work but it might pay off. When even Costco told me “good luck” (for supply only) I found 1010tire had a set for me.Dealer can’t get the tires for both vehicles. I don’t know what to do.
I got one through Tirerack.Dealer can’t get the tires for both vehicles. I don’t know what to do.
So "the flipper" is not acknowledging your complaint?Ya, met “the flipper” and introduced myself and he did not respond with his name. Kinda sets the tone off the get-go hey. Sorry I am not the OP but it is my commented flipper is being quoted.… should have my own thread I guess … my photo with the bins and steeet-front “supply yard”.So "the flipper" is not acknowledging your complaint?
Call the City permits office and/or The Ministry of Labour, or at least use the threat of a call to gain his attention.
His 'Building Permit' and a 'Notice of Project' must be conspicuously posted (usually a window or on the front door).
If it's not there, implying he may be doing this work without a permit, they can and will halt construction immediately and indefinitely.
The last thing any 'flipper' wants is the aggravation of a time delay.
As a side note, document everything, including your efforts to reach an amicable settlement, names on disposal bins and pick-ups, photos of workers, etc..
Don't let it ride - guys like this give the construction industry a bad name.
That’s the thing about neighbours , just like relatives you don’t get to choose.Ya, met “the flipper” and introduced myself and he did not respond with his name. And Workers Compensation. Seems like the type that would not be in compliance. So "the flipper" is not acknowledging your complaint?

Nonsense. If you do not track your car, simply get them repaired. The tire guys is trying to rip you off. That is the easiest, most straightforward repair . The other nail, unfortunately, is close to the sidewall, so not sure. But they look like shallow nails anywaysBad news: 3 out of 4 tires on the Corvette have nails. This will be an expensive lesson for the contractor. So 6 tires they will need to replace at the minimum given how Cadillac recommends replacing 2 at a time on the AWD Escalade.
