Hey everybody,

Just wondering if I can get some help here, I'm wanting to go wider on the rear. Probably 315 or 305/30-19 and also I want to make it flush with the fenders to give it a full look. So I'm trying to figure out the proper offset for these wheels so I won't need wheel spacers. So my question/s is will a 19x10 or 10.5 rim fit a 315 on it without any rubbing on a C5 coupe? And on a 19x10 or 10.5 rim what kind of offset will I be looking at to get rid of the rub.

I don't mind a 19x11 either ;)

Thanks!

Here you go :
Use a 305 rear tire with a 275 front . Its what I have been running on my car for the last 4 years .
The 315 in a 19" is too tall a tire and will rub .

Thats perfect, thank you Manny. Now in the future how do you calculate the proper offset for say that 19x11 to which it becomes a +64 offset. Are you are running 19's all the way around or just the rear?

Thanks!

I.m running 19 x 10.55 TSW Rims with 305/30R19XL Hankook Ventus V12's on the rears.
18 x 9.5 TSW Rims with 265/35R18XL Hankook Ventus V12's on the front.

I think they fit perfect!!

On the 18 x 10.5, you'll want to run a 58mm offset.
On the 18 x 9.0 , you'll want to run a 56mm offset.

But double check this offset.

Widest for the rear would be a 305/35/18 Tire
Widest for the front would be a 275/35/18 Tire

I tried 19 rear and 18 front. Didn’t see much difference. Going back to 18 rear Nd 17 front. Also will try Bridgetone run flats. Hopefully, a little bounce compared to Good Year run flat tires.
