Good evening,

Kind of like Livingston International, perserverance pays off - my son finally got a math problem right without any help!

Would you believe that I am so dense I had to get my gf to explain to me what you guys were talking about! And then were to place your bids relative to the others?!

buckhorn76 - firstborn and left nut (first born = priceless, left nut no longer needed though, sort of cosmetic actually)
nascar03 - farmland (say $200,000 in this area.....)
CCO - $4800
Wayne - $4784.17
CaledoniaBrian - $4674.00
Garry - $4000.00
navion - $3874.00
N20Vette - $3685.00
Steamer - $3175
Somebuddy - $2679.00

Cheers,

Garry

Well like I said, I can be pretty dense! So then:

buckhorn76 - firstborn and left nut (first born = priceless, left nut no longer needed though, sort of cosmetic actually)
nascar03 - crop from 80 acres of canola (1/2 a 1/4 section) say $32,000 this year then
CCO - $4800
Wayne - $4784.17
CaledoniaBrian - $4674.00
Garry - $4000.00
navion - $3874.00
N20Vette - $3685.00
Steamer - $3175
Somebuddy - $2679.00

Cheers,

Garry

Zoya!

MUCH BETTER math results this morning. Much more quickly done, concepts more clearly understood. He still required a bit of help but nothing like yesterday. odd how he goes from no chance of getting it and 12 similar questions almost showing proficiency!

Cheers,

Garry

I'm in for the guess!

Good to have you aboard Riley!

Sort of exciting, 16 hours from now I'll know the answer. I hope it won't be too crushing of my soul.

Good morning everyone,

buckhorn76 - firstborn and left nut (first born = priceless, left nut no longer needed though, sort of cosmetic actually)

Well, it was a bit of a surprise. $2,872.61. So Somebuddy is closest! Wayne, looks like your dream came through too! Not an experience I'm happy to have gone through but at least the bill was a lot less than I had been steeling myself for.

Grain to load this afternoon, I think I go for a drive as the hours on the road are winding down.

Cheers,

Garry

Good morning Wayne,

I would say that outside of anything actually concrete Somebuddy gave me hope so he wins the prize for giving me the dream bottom line that would be an actually birthday present of sorts! If you can call 3K for just a new stock fuel pump a "gift"!!

But it looks like I'm going to try to get it into storage today, this afternoon yet, as while we have a 40% chance of flurries tomorrow for this area, Grande Prairie which is on the Spirit River side of things is forecasting 60% cahnce of flurries starting at midnight and winds 30 to 50 km/hr tomorrow!! Not the sort of weather I'd like to have the Z06 out in. I could wait until Thursday or Friday but I'm also unsure of how much snow a "flurry" constitutes.........

Cheers,

Garry

Glad it wasn't too bad Garry ......

Good afternoon,

To be sure it is good news! Of course better news would have been the fuel pump upgrade done but I guess we'll save that and for that in the future!! Hard to imagine that bill being classified as a "relief" though, isn't it! That amount spent on upgrades or improvements is one thing, spending that money to get me back to where I was a month ago is less easy to digest.

Still it is great to drive it again. I arranged for a ride home after the groad is loaded into the trucks in preparation for loading the rail cars this week and so that will be my final road trip this year.

Cheers,

Garry
