Thanks Rob -- We'll both have awesome rides...... no worries. and thanks for the help keeping me 'together' this past few weeks. :D

ONce we get the boost level down on my engine a little to about 10 psi, our rides will be on about par, except that you have a 3.5" pulley and mine is slightly smaller at 3.25".
YOu going to the 3.25" pulley?

Ya man.....gonna be an awesome summer. :canada:

It turned out quite stunning Wayne -- so we're all stunned I'm sure. Pretty awesome outcome.

Go see Manny -- He's got a million ways to put a smile on your face especially with a supercharger.

Does that mean that you are giving everyone free test drives???
:leaving:

:D

:seeya:

If test drivers don't mind only having part throttle available for now then sure.

I can imagine how much gas and rear tires I'd go thru test driving everyone who shown interest here. and once one or 2 have had their go I'd have to give everyone one just to be fair........I think I can see a problem with that, but I'msure we can work something out that they get at least to see what it's all about. Maybe at a track or something they can watch me turn a 10.99 quarter. (yeah I know I'd need better tires but that can be managed too) We'll see.

Damn I'm stoaked. BTW the final numbers that Manny and Arun got tonight with the adjusted restrictor plate and proper boost of 10 psi are:

563 hp and 531 ft.lbs.!!!!!!!!!

That's a pickup of 191 hp and 153 ft. lbs. at the wheels!

That is quite a bump, and that is going to command some respect from me.

Awesome job by our man Manny and his team at Dasilva Motorsports.

Kudos to you and your guys, Manny -- from what I know these are some excellent numbers from a really good 'charger kit and an awesome team.

Muchos gracias Senors.:canada:

Manny will be posting here tomorrow after a well earned rest, some supper and family time. Thanks again Manny -- You're the best.

Colin.

Isn't 563 rwhp ZR1 territory? That is wiiiiii-cked!!!

Well let's see: From what I've read, on a standard tranny its powertrain saps about 15% power -- leaving about 542 hp roughly ending up at the wheels of a Z.

So yes the GS slightly edges the ZR-1's wheel hp by about 20 ponies -- I suspect tho that there's other pluses on the ZR-1 that makes it an even better handler than my relatively stock suspensioned and 'braked' GS. (tongue in cheek -- the Z car is the ultimate of course)

That's a good point Riley. I hadn't considered that until now.

When one thinks of it that way it's an eye-opener for sure......:eek::eek:

Awesome numbers Colin!

I suspect those mild driving habits might take a severe turn for something a little more agressive this summer! If I'm in the area--which I believe I may be in May (well in Toronto anyways), I'd love to get a sample of that power!!!
