The first 2022 Orders

Question: How are 2022 orders getting placed without a Canadian price list? The "build your own" GM website still has 2021 prices/colours/options.
Does one just agree to pay MSRP? I'm in the "barely can make the numbers work" category so I have to know how much the damage is going to be before I sign on the dotted line. Any insight would be helpful, I'm on a waiting list for a 2022 but no official order on the books yet.

I’ve been told add approx. 5% from current pricing

Thanks, I will factor that in. From what I can determine, the "build your own" website should go to 2022 in late September. I doubt anything will happen with my order before then, and if it does that's not such a bad thing
The US GM site goes "live" for build & price on 14 Sep. No word on GM Canada, but, not too long after that....

Thanks Cam! The 993 isn’t going anywhere. It boils down to whether I’d get more use out of a C8 as an additional fun car or trade the Macan S in on a 992 and use as a daily. If I do the latter, buying a C8 probably doesn’t make much sense. I may leave my deposit down and delay the decision until the Spring. I still have the 67 Camaro too, so the garage is a bit full!

In a similar position. I have an m850i which is far more practical with its rear seats and a regular trunk. Wondering if I should still get it, drive it in spring and sell it on a break even price. Thoughts?

I can't speak for other mid engine cars, but the C8 is a totally different driving experience to a front engined car. No, it's not too practical but if you already have a practical car and can afford a toy, the C8 is your best bang for the buck ... or so I've heard. lol

Nice - very encouraging to hear that they expect an October delivery for you

Also interesting to see that they got an allocation at this time in the month, my understanding was that Aug 12th & Aug 26th were the allocation days this month but as long as you got one that's awesome!

Not sure. He contacted me last night and said they were getting my allocation for entry today. After Aug 24 I can't make any changes.
