I am still watching for the CF top....with baited breath.
Heya Lawrence, yep me too lol. I need a few key items Ive sourced out.

I am waiting on parting film, and peel ply for the top of the composite layup before bagging. Peel ply is on a slow boat from China.....really coming from China, the other is in L.A the last time I checked.

Im hoping by weeks end I can start doing the frame for the layup. My instrument cluster has taken the foreground as far as priority. THAT is in Chicago. Sheesh. There is pollen all over my car, its been sitting for what ?......a week?
I'm surprised the wife hasn't bugged me about having 2 cars now sitting lol. The other is my 91 Mustang notchback with a blown 2.3 liter gerbil wheel, I mean motor.....:Beatdeadhorse:

WOW I havent seen a st8 6 in a while!
I would be tempted to toss a say 58 mm turbo on that baby, and watch that chicken fly! Who says chickens don't fly? Esp. purple ones lol!!

I just picked it up, I saw it for sale about a year ago and regretted not trying to pick it up. I have a 1971 350cid that a buddy pulled out of a 71 3/4 ton with about 50k on it, appear never to been opened. I have some 461 hump heads I can use on it and an old school offenhauser 2x4 set-up with dual 500cfm carbs, I figure with a bit...hehehe of a cam we might be able to make 350hp. I am rebuilding the front end, bushings springs shocks and ball joints, the tranny is a 350Th and a non-posi rear end( I can work on that).
And no not a factory colour, it is growing on me though, the interior is black and I also found a factory Formula hood for it.
It will be a daily driver hope to have some fun with it.

Sweet! Sounds like you have your hands full as far as projects are concerned!
I would LOVE to swap out my current powerplant in the Stang and find an SVO powerplant somewhere and drop that in. I seen a guy did that in a Pinto in Cali, thing was evil lol.

Update!!!
I made the box for the plug, and used packing tape and painters tape for a release agent for the expanding foam I used. It doesn't stick to that stuff at all!
I think the pics pretty much are self explanatory. Ask away if any clarity required.
I am doing the pour for the plaster itself tomorrow. After the pour I should be able to turn over box,

I've got the Targa out of box and back on car for the night. It was a bit tight taking it out, but one guy can manage......The tape as a barrier REALLY helped! Follow up tomorrow.

Also did all 4 shocks last weekend, half shaft u-joints arrived yesterday, after top is done, my next job.

Add our house is being dismantled and 200 amp service electrical upgrade, drywalling, and floors and painting. Windows done last week, doors on the 15th. Got a new AME (S) gig on 18th...whew. I need a holiday man lol.
