Umm, don't want to jinx things, lots happened yesterday, sudden unexpected text / phone call from Morgan @ Finch (my original deposit @ Apr '21). Was #78 when I signed up, last check-in was Jun '22 (#48), attempted an update for Dec '22 which yielded nothing, so gave up, focusing on my other deposit with BS. Turns out I am currently somewhere around #19 with Finch, which would have likely meant another 5-6 months of wait @ 3 per month.

However, for some reason, I got a call, informing me that due to either 1 of 2 constraints (specific forged wheels not available or Z51 only), combined with the economy (increased price of vehicle, higher interest rates), that many before me were passing/waiting. He even told me some people were upset with him for having called them too soon, not ready to commit to the car, so I guess the tide is turning.

All that to say, he thought of me, my passion for badly wanting the car, knowing it would be an awesome build, plus me wanting it for Grand Prix weekend, and decided to offer me his last allocation for this Thurs. We went thru the build quickly, got me on the phone with their finance person, and the rest was history. Still cannot believe that happened.

It is going to be tight, but if he submits the order this Thurs, he said build should happen week of May 15th, plus 2 weeks for the build, plus 2 weeks for the transport, couple days of dealer time, and I should have it a few days to a week prior to the big weekend (best case).

I am still waiting for the final confirmation on Thurs, but once I know, will let you know so you can update the list here, and switch it to allocation March with Finch !!

Final note, we spoke about the MY24 Riptide Blue, and he informed me that knowing or having seen the color (not sure on what vehicle), as exciting as it looked on the eRay, it is a pretty standard blue, nothing that would pop too much, more subdued in person, so that sealed the deal for me not to wait for a MY24.

Things just got real for me folks !!
Congrats my friend

Neils, what did you end up ordering exactly? The dealership is only about 10 minutes from me so let me know when your car is built and I will look for it's arrival.

Thanks man !!! I think you will want to be there for the hand off, because it will be quite the unique build, aftermarket visible CF aero, Vossen rims, and a bunch of cool accessories from ACS and GS Creations. The car is a RB/TB 3LT HTC Z51, but will look wild once done, very wild, which Morgan @ Finch is helping me out with (installing the parts). Investing some decent coin in the mods, will be probably mid Z06 price point once done.

The big reveal will be filmed here in Montreal for the Grand Prix, both for his channel and a YouTube montage I will likely create for Vossen & RSC (Racing Sport Concepts). I am big on aftermarket, a JDM Japan car culture guy turned American supercar now, and car show guy, been a part of all the big car shows with my modified Nissan 300ZX back in the days, trophies to show for it too. So this build will be extra special for me, have already ordered all of the parts, Morgan is picking it up in a couple of weeks when down here in town.

He claims the plant build should take place the week of May 15th, hopefully 2 weeks later done, hopefully 2 weeks later delivered, and then Finch will fast track the mods, to help get the car ready for GP weekend.

Thanks for looking out for it !!

Neils...Don't let them put any of those mods on your sales contract or you will be paying federal luxury tax on them if your total is over $100,000.
Quite the opposite, I paid for all of the mods myself, sourced it all and arranged shipping either to my house or direct to the dealer. They are taking care of the install, which I will pay for the labour separately. To be honest with you, I did not even realize it, but when I looked into visible CF aero including front splitter, skirts and high wing, it amounted to over $13K. I managed to get some way cooler visible CF aero for less than that with RSC. I also made sure to take care of the Vossen rims and PS4 tires myself, as well as the other mods like suspension parts etc... So yeah, I hear you, trying to make sure the final bill is for the car and the car itself and nothing more. Thanks !!

If attrition stays like that he'll be 23 by August! lol
Murray, I spoke to Cullen's yesterday. Over the past year as of tomorrow only 27 have dropped off the list from the 200.
However, it does sound like the list is shorter this year due to others going on E-Ray and other lists!

Interesting! Still that's about a 13% attrition rate in a month if it was 200 in March. But I was in jest. I have no idea when it was 200. I'm sure there were actual deliveries of late as well.
