Spring in the air

Wow. I thought there'd still be a lot of snow around your part.

Looks like a major storm coming to Alberta in the next few days again.......sheesh.......

Yup its "crappy" here tonight.............just saw our local jackrabbit.............bigger than most of the local dogs..........anyway a couple of weeks ago he was half brown............he is now going back to SNOW WHITE!!!!!!!

Raining like hell here this morning and they say the temps are dropping later this afternoon. Go figure!

Much the same here Terry.....near future bodes decent temps during the day and slightly below freezing at night.

At least the rain will wash some of the salt and snow away that's lingering.

It remains to be seen if the salters continue to plaster the roads here.

At least we've broken Old Man Winter's back (for this year) and the worst is behind us.
We're all sure going to enjoy the fine weather when it finally arrives.

Warming up here down east but will be awhile before the snow is completely melted. I won't have a seasonal toy until some time later this year so I'm not worried. First year in a long time no motorcycle or seasonal toy to keep me looking at the state of the roads/weather.

Maybe spring has been delayed in Alberta but it had been cancel here Quebec, it's snowing here and we may have up to 20cm Sunday. :banghead: :swear:

-21 here in the Peace Region but due to hit -1 in the afternoon (can you say Garry's going running?!) and early next week actually having positive temperatures once again.

But it was super good for loading grain from the bags in the fields, no sweating or mud to get the trucks stuck - the always present "silver lining"!!!!!

You're lucky Colin - driving to Costco! Ihaven't had the courage to take the winter tires of my Sentra yet!

Cheers,

Garry

dang those pics look great -- we're at least 4 weeks behind that and still a pile of snow to melt yet.
NIce to see that someone is getting a decent spring. Steamer on the island is at about that stage right now too.

Enjoy.

My sister lives in Victoria and rubs these same types of flowery pictures in our snow covered faces from time to time. I could learn to hate her. ;)

I can't believe you got the car out of the garage Colin with all that snow you guys have had!

I feel really bad for you Boss! 20cm of snow would be horrible!

We have about 90% of our snow gone...until this weekend which might be 1 or 2 cm so not much and nothing to worry about. I think Corvette season is only a few weeks away!

Colin, we'll be hooking up soon with the way the weather is today!

Once I get more familiar with the roads out here we'll have to do a nice country drive.

Here in The fraser Valley B.C. it was 14C yesterday, and today will be a balmy 15C. But we have a lot of rain coming after that. God I would love to be able to rustproof the underside of the vette so the rain would be less of a worry.
