My engine is finally supposed to ship this week and the work will commence agains as soon as it arrives.
The parts list grew some so here is the completed list.
LME LS402
Caillies Dragonslayer crank
Caillies ultra billet rods / upgraded wrist pins
Wiesco coated pistons / gas ported / steel top ring
ARP studs
My WCCH Edelbrock 245 heads.... redone with new valves and springs
I will reuse my eforce supercharger to see what is the max I can get out of it. The build is done in anticipation of possibly something different next year. (twins ??)
Also being reused: ARH 1 7/8 headers, Alky control meth kit,
Other stuff:
Melling ported oil pump
KB bap
C5R timing chain / gears / damper
Morel link bar lifters
Brian Tooley max lift springs / titanium retainers
Ferrea Competition Plus valves
ATI crank damper 8% overdrive
B&M Transmission cooler with fan
Circle D converter Triple disc.... 2600 stall
Hinson Poly motor and transmission mounts
LS9 head gaskets
ARP crank bolt
Pat G spec custom cam
Moroso Coolant tank (to add a bit more capacity to the intercooler system)
Comp camshaft retainer
Vmax ported throttle body
ARP flex plate bolts
A gazillion misc. gaskets and seals
Custom made transmission brace
ACP World Challenge Hood (get underhood temps down a bit)
After realizing that I already had serious traction issues I decided to try to fix that the best I can by adding....
Z06 rear fenders
Weld RTS 17x11 rear wheels with M&H Racemaster 325/45/17 tires
Weld RTS 17x7 front wheels... tires still to be chosen
Thats a killer build for sure , great selection of components , almost like my build
Thanks... a compliment for sure coming from an expert.
Nice job there Canuk -- love all the protective heat wrap..some of that stuff goes a long way in a lot of places on our hot 'vettes.
Did you get the special header/exhaust coating you mentioned b4? Looks nice I wonder how well it works. You'll soon find out.
What are you expecting on the dyno? -- 700+ or a wee bit more?
Keep us in the loop.
Colin.
