Recall for Toyota

It makes sense that this recall would affect Lexus as well as the Camry and ES (etc) are the same platform. And, just to be a jerk about it, Lexus only exists in North America. In Japan, Lexus is called...da da da DA! Toyota. Or at least that what the story was when I sold them in '98.
Not good if you own one but I like Toyota eating crow... they've been resting on the lorels of their past accomplishments for almost a decade now...
I'm glad they flunked out of Formula 1 after burning billions of dollars without so much as a winners trophy
Good god ... my wife is picking her Camry up next week ... only good thing is she picked it and not me ...
I think it does not effect all Toyota cars in each model range, they supposedly used also another manufactures gas pedal
other then CTS here, we have one of the old CTS engineers working at my company in Solid Edge 3D model design.
Here is the fix, the friction area was put in the system to create a pressure under you foot and give it some feel.

Well, that's there problem right there! They put little red dots on the old assembly! I can't believe nobody caught that before it went into production.
