Nice shot Eric. How was the hunt?

Thx Murray. We have about a foot of snow so it was a bit tough going.... We got 6 though which I thought was really good but I'll tell ya''' when a grouse that has burrowed into the snow flushes out three feet in front of you, it's darnn near cardio resuscitation time.... lol....

Great pictures Eric. Nice fire, just remember where the skid was. You know nails and ATV are not the best of friends!!

thx Murray. Strangely enough, I have learned that lesson the hard way...Now I have one of those big wheeled magnets... It will pick most of them up come spring and that's my designated burn area so have learned over the years to steer a bit clear of it as well... Along about April you can laugh with me if I post a grumble about my flat tire and how I was warned....

A White New Years Eve. Must have looked pretty special.

A year ago on New Years Eve we did not have any snow at all. Today we spent the day trying to push the snow back we have so we will have room for what is yet to come. Oh my, it will be snow covered here for quite some time.

Great pictures Hiroki and Graham, thanks for sharing.

Wowsers Graham...that looks like a wet heavy snow too... We got about 3 inches New Years Eve...I plowed today... I'm guessing you probably don't have a snowblower... do you even have a snow shovel? Brenda's uncle in Maple ridge was upon his motor home roof clearing the snow.... not sure if he thought it was too heavy or what....

Murray. I can feel your pain. Right from the first snow I start winging the snow back as far as I have room for in preparation for a possible winter of lots of snow... sometimes we get it and sometimes not but better safe than sorry.... Little easier for me with the plow truck though...

Looks like most of the country is getting it except me. Just a trace here, if a gopher popped his head out on some fields you would see him . Lakes are freezing fast, 2 feet on some from what I heard so ice fishing is easy as can drive anywhere with the truck. If they didn't pour that rotten potash on the highway I is tempted to take the Crossfire out for a spin but no way am I splashing it up with that stuff.

If a gopher popped his head up here this morning he would get a hell of a surprise.... Coldest spot in Canada this morning is Red Deer, Alberta.... Woohooo... gotta love holding up a trophy for that.... -35 when I left for work.... wind chill temp is -46.... Debated bringing the C7 to work but didn't get up early enough to put the chains on...
