I don't think so Tim....eerrr Dave. I bet that if the angle of the photo was straight on to the trim you could see that the trim is all wonky...just sayin
Thanks for that Yeller, now I'm right back where I started....wonky. I am glad though that there are no big bumpers and chrome trim
on my vette.

So is the rear bumper. But look at that thin trim piece above it..... Sheesh.... I just realized that bumper and trim criticism is rapidly becoming an integral part of this thread....

Not even going to mention the front bumper....errrr.... guess I just did.... :rofl:
I just googled a 1958 restoration parts site. The front bumper is 4 pieces, 2 ends, centre and filler. It is attached to 3 flimsy looking brackets with carriage bolts. My guess is its probably an SOB to set up, but I doubt its impossible.
