Wonder if anyone on here knows anything about this old photo I found and the car in it? Unlikely I agree. LoL
Fred, I could talk here for hours with nothing to do with 1958s. The guy at the front in the yellow hat was Carl "Curly" Rowland, my partner in Drag Dimensions, the guy to his left is Karl "The Jap" Skura. Fellow at the back I don't know who it is but the third guy in this team was Dave Pratt who worked at Karbelt. This car was runner up in Competition Eliminator at the US Nationals in 1967. The car was named Percy Also but that again is another story that I could tell you. It was a an NHRA Record holder for two years, running a 288 cubic inch small block mouse motor, same as what my race car partner, Nick Minialoff and I used in our B/Gas Anglia. Later Nick bought out Dave Pratt and the team changed engines to a Chrysler Hemi. Here are a couple more pics, one at Indy When Curly lost to Virgil Cates in Comp Eliminator. If you want to learn a little more about the story of this car just click on the url....Percy Also starts at about the 6 minute mark..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l1MDWcHZgdU .......Oh those were the days........Peter RobertsOnly had time for a quick search but couldn't find anything on this one. The altered class of drag racing was quite wild in its heyday.

You can post links to Youtube here and click on them and watch them here all you like. Not sure where you got that idea. There's a few hundred of them posted on the Driving Tunes thread. Here's a link to the CCF rules. I know it's a lot to ask but you will find your answers there... By the way. I watched that youtube link here "onboard"...That was awesome 1bad9t9. Thanks for the information. Pity the network admins don't allow us to watch youtube onboard here but I have it bookmarked for when I get home. Again, Thanks.

No worries Fred. The confusion was mine. I should have paid more attention to your words...lol. Have a good shift.Eric, it is out here at work that the admins lock them out. Sorry for the confusion on that one. Bandwidth is limited offshore and expensive. But someday in the near future I expect that to change.
Salesman says "Well I'll be snookered, there was an engine in there last time I looked. Tell ya what, I'll knock 50 bucks off it, you can roll her down the hill to Smithy's Garage and he'll fix ya right up."
