A day at the beach...

I know that the 58 chev sedan delivery was used by the American National Parks . Not sure if this one is green or red , or what the emblem on the door means. But the driver is wearing a tie and thick glasses . There is a 2way radio aerial on the roof, spot lights on the front bumper , grip tires all around and a set of mud flaps dangling in back. Some security patrol vehicle .

I had no idea about the colours. Thanks for that.
We used to get the kid next door to taste test it.
...
....all fuel was dyed , it is a way to tell what you got just by looking at the color. Back in the day the cops all had a siphon and would check fuel tanks to see if we didn't have purple farm fuel in a non farm licenced vehicle. If got caught then paid a fine. Farm fuel was cheaper and was not meant to be used in cars or light trucks that didn't have a farm plate. Cops would even sometime walk down main street in town checking tanks or stop cars on the highway. When fuel injection started coming in and fill spout restrictor valves, then it became too hard for them to stick the hose in the tanks and slowly the practice was gone. Even engines that had a glass sediment bowl by the carb it was easily visable to see the color of gas so they popped open the hood to look. Even today if a semi driver got stopped and they checked his tank and found the diesel to be purple instead of clear then he will pay a fine. But overall those days are gone of getting nailed for purple . Right now reg gas is amber, premium is light green.

.
......well this is a hard one to figure out. As you can see up the hill it is single lane 2way traffic. Yet the 2 wagons are side by side and it almost looks like the 57 Pontiac Super Chief with the new 347 4bbl under the hood is pushing the 58 235 6cl chev into the parked 60 Chev right in front of it. Both appear to have the brakes on ?? Bottom right corner you can see how close the 58 is to the parked car just inches away from the wheel. Or they just stopped and are deciding which cafe or Bar to hit as there are a few on both sides of the street up ahead.
