..well Joe Cool should of at least not driven it through the muddy water and dirty the tires before taking the picture. I never liked that old man's color, Cay Coral. Looks like maybe a California plate , thus the one piece bumper, and the boot cover is snapped on so maybe the top never is up on the sunny California V8 car.
 
Something familiar about this car but I don't think it is a duplicate pic...Chrome Reverse Wheels, man they were cool...

Car matches the house, thought only Eric did things like that with is colour matched man cave and Corvette...

......Well what the heck ? , secret project being tested ?. I never seen or heard of this 58 technology....driverless car ? look at the dash, no steering column and the dash is all filled in like this was made to be , just a sensor on there, funny brake pedal , no gas pedal , what are the guages monitoring ? who knows what they have done here ? looks like a joy stick left side,.........follow the leader test cruise. wow !

Any resemblance to colour coordination in my world is pure luck Murray. Brenda usually looks at me after I dress and shakes her head.... Actually she shakes her head a lot at me.... :Banghead:

Goes to prove GM was well ahead of the competition with their autonomous vehicle designs coming out in the 50's. The joy stick is definitely interesting though. Perhaps the only thing missing is the robot driver?

...........here I thought you were just testing my memory if I was paying attention to all these great posts you made !!!! , I may forget names and faces and can't tell the difference from one Vette to another the last 35 years but I never forget a 58 that cruised by me.....:happy:....
 
....not sure if that is a public parking lot or what ? I see a couple of tickets behind the wipers. My choice to drive away in would be the 59 Cadillac or the ragtop in front of the 64 chev hardtop.
