For those who may have tried to attach a photo to a post and it was in the wrong format here is a free online converter that works very well. After you convert the image just save it to your photos folder and you are good to go!

I just use the clipping tool. Clip what you want from the browser / viewer and paste it right into the post.

Ya, screen capture is what you need there.

More than one way to skin a dog. The converter does work well though and pretty simple.

Thanks. Not sure what the original format was. Didn’t show in the meta data. Originated from an Apple News Article. I was able to convert it through quite easily.

Weird. Apple article photo format is usually .png which will load fine here. But that being said, seems there's new formats popping up regularly.

Found it. It was a .webp

Yup. Not on the list... It was developed by google a while ago as a compressed version to take the place of jpegs and bmp and others. Don't see it much but will see if we can bring that into the CCF options.

Thanks, yes it's pretty easy to convert. This feature will come in with our big platform upgrade planned in the next couple of months.
