Oil Change schedule changed??

Is this true for Canada?? From Corvette Forum mostly USA based.

I just got this info this today in my daily GM news.
GM has extended the time to get your first free oil change to 36 months of your delivery date.


UPDATE: 1ST SERVICE VISIT TIME EXTENSION FOR 2020-2022 CORVETTE

• The Chevrolet Complete Care program is extending the Included Maintenance timing requirements for the owners of the Chevrolet Corvette (C8) to come in to dealerships for their 1st service visit. For owners of a 2020 and newer Corvette, the allowed timing is being increased from 12 months to 36 months. This new timing is more suitable for the driving habits experienced with Corvette owners.
• Effective Date: December 13, 2021
• Additional Information:
• The CorvetteIncluded Maintenance 1st Service Visit includes:
  • One (1) covered OIL CHANGE visit within 3 years of ownership which includes:
    • Oil and filter change using Mobil1 oil and ACDelco oil filter
    • Transmission fluid filter change (see GM Service Information document ID 5384826)
    • Multipoint Vehicle Inspection
• See Corvette Owner Manual for recommended maintenance schedule

Not the 2020's. No free DCT filter change. At least not so far. Hope it changes because it is expensive

also NOT 2021...2 oil changes only. the free filter only applies to 2022 MY in Canada

I change my oil at the end of each year regardless of mileage. Just got the oil and trans filter changed last month at 8,000 km.

I have a 2022, there's no mention of the TX filter change on the window sticker for the vehicle.

I got the info about the TX filter change from a "Gilles 27" post on August 23rd of 2021 on this site...

Looks like it may have not been accurate.

I'll check with GM, but I'm pretty sure they will only do a couple of oil changes

So if GM is extending the 1st oil change service visit to 36 months ignoring the oil service life monitor, doesn't that imply they are changing the recommended oil change interval to 36 months (or 12000 km)?

Did that come from GM or a dealership? I will definitely start questioning GM on why this does not apply to 2020 and 2021.

Thanks. I have sent an email to Chevrolet Canada and asked them to explain why not 2020-21. Cant hurt. Especially if everyone does it:

So I wrote to GM re DCT change and today I received a phone call from Customer Care. Unfortunately they will not authorize a free DCT filter for 2020 or 2021, however are sending me a free tire rotation and vehicle health check whatever those are. Does anyone actually rotate the tires?
