Got my hydro trench and duct in yesterday, wind and cold made us work fairly quickly. Also because of the wind we have been inside insulating and will have that all completed by todays end.

Finished all my outdoor steel, got the troughs installed and have the shop completely insulated and vapour barrier done. Ordering the indoor steel next week.

Also waiting on the shutters and overhead door.

Perhaps one day next summer we can have some of you guys over for a visit. Just bought one of those 8ft fans for the shop. At one time only Big Ass fans carried them and were unaffordable but they have competition now so one can be had for under a grand. Blades are solid aluminum and should have a very nice industrial look to it. Perhaps I'll polish out the blades.

THAT is a good size shop, I am jealous, I keep telling my wife that I want to save her some work, sell the big house with a double garage and buy a smaller house with a HUGE garage. You have to know that she take care of the interior of the house and I take care of the garage and exterior so she would save some work. Ideally, in a good size shop, you should be able to bring the car in the garage, make a ''U'' turn and park close to the door ready to get out. I am dreaming to big???

Overhead installed and turned out great. Capped all the framing before installing the door which gives a nice clean finish. Door fit and sealed up excellent. They forgot to give me the wind braces which I will install later. Going to Lowes today to get a 1 1/4HP door opener.
Insulation came yesterday for the ceiling so now that crappy job has to be done. Ordered enough for 16'' or there about's.
It's getting near done!

You're getting real close Bill. Good choice on the door opener.... too many wonder why a 1/3 horse opener only lasts a year.... Yup.... Insulating ceiling is a dirty job.... especially if you're using fiberglass.... I see you've at least got a good scaffold system going on.... Saves falling off a 12 foot stepladder.... hehe.... Good going Bill... soon you will be putting the personal shop contents touch on it as well... fun times....

Absolutely Eric, would love some neon but holy crap expensive! No pink itchy stuff for me, I'm going with cellulose as it's a better product anyhow.

I agree.... Neon is very expensive. I stumble upon ebay neon on occasion that's a bit more reasonable but am afraid it would show up in pieces.... so I never take the chance... lol....
