Event New homestead on 10 acres

Got my 40' culvert in dressed up with some 8'' on the ends. Driveway staked and excavated and 180tons of base spread. Will top dress with 3/4 in a year or so.
Shop foundation next as well as roadside and ditch grass clean-up.
Driveway is 20' wide 300' long with a good wide entrance.

Thanks Manny, I just realized I had not posted the shop dimensions and no one has asked either. lol

Shop is 40' X 60' with 12' walls and 4/12 pitch roof.

Bill, it's looking real good! That's the way to build make it big, and then take your time filling it up.
You going to have a room just for the engine collection?

Thanks Rob, lots of room for the RC stuff and I plan to have a little lounge area where the engines will go into showcases. TV, fridge, kettle, couch etc. all in that area. Wish I had the extra coin for one of those Big Ass fans, their cool!

Back filling perimeter and yesterday we put in and compacted 252 ton of 2'' crusher run. Once I have that compacted a bit more and a couple of rains, 60 ton of clear stone goes in before the floor pour.

Got my gate posts augered as well today and shaved down the front ditch grade for better mowing down the road.

Sat on a roller compacting today in the cold wind and rain Don. Chilled to the bone when I got home. Surprising nothing sore yet.

Put another 64 ton of clear stone in the shop this morning so I am now awaiting the concrete floor pour. Hopefully this week!

Concrete boys came around today to check my grade, chalk the line on the wall and drive some re-bar pins for the wire mesh.
They never had to move a single stone and were complaining that the stone base was compacted too hard as they were having trouble driving pins.
Concrete floor coming Tues or Wed depending on mother nature.

Floor is poured, all 30 metres of it. Slow setting today as it was fairly cool. Also poured my gate posts which took a metre and a half. Saw cutting Sat morning and framing lumber and trusses coming Thursday.
Thought I would be a nice guy and also ordered a toilet for next week. There's always someone that needs to take a dump in the midddle of the day.
