Shoot, I already wish I had gone bigger. lol 40X80 I think would have been a better size but I still have a house to build.
Weather has been pretty good Don but they are predicting some cold weather sometime this month. Supposed to be a very cold and snowy winter as well but who knows.
Just in case I bought another Jeep today and plan to stick a plow on it.

A few more photos of some progress. I poured my gate posts as well and hung gates. Just need to weld some nice caps on and prime and paint the whole gate system flat black weather permitting. Framing starts Monday.

The progress continues Bill. It is amazing once the foundations have been prepared and install how quickly the framing actually goes. The crane will make quick work of the trusses.

Hope the weather continues to hold for you. Good luck and thanks for the updates and photos. Great stuff.

Went to town on the driveway and entrance today. Also a couple of brothers over to help me with some more framing and sheeting.

Doing this for others is ok but doing it for yourself is quite different. Seems like twice as much work but also a lot more fun and rewarding as things progress. I have a long way to go before I'm sitting on the front porch with my feet up.

Yes. As someone who did the general contracting on my first house and then went through contracting a massive remodel of a 100 year old farmhouse... while we still lived in it...lol.... I know how much work.... frustration.....and yes, fun.... Trust Bill. Before you know it you will be sitting with your feet up on your porch and looking back on this thread and saying " hehe.... I remember that.... and here I am now....finished.... with my feet up ....... and a great house and shop........and I don't smoke anymore either.... .... a year and 13 days for me... if I remember right, you are pushing a year too... :Cheers2:

That's great Bill.... Strangely enough, I don't even notice it anymore .... Brenda notices more than me and she will ask when we've been somewhere if so-and-so smoking bothered me.... My answer usually is that I didn't even realize they were smoking... I feel great as well.... had to drag 500 pounds of moose out of the bush earlier this month which usually would have winded me every 2 minutes....we latched on to it and I was pretty surprised that my muscles complained but not once did I get winded....
