Event New homestead on 10 acres

Got my 40' culvert in dressed up with some 8'' on the ends. Driveway staked and excavated and 180tons of base spread. Will top dress with 3/4 in a year or so.
Shop foundation next as well as roadside and ditch grass clean-up.
Driveway is 20' wide 300' long with a good wide entrance.

Thanks Buck I'm enjoying it so far. The house will not start until next spring so it breaks things up a bit. Driveway, shop, underground hydro and propane this fall and early winter. Over the winter months I'll work on the inside of the shop with wiring, insulating, hoist, benches etc.

Don is a car nutjob, has been forever. He organizes many events down in Basehor, KS. Perhaps he can post some photos somewhere on the site.

Perhaps general vehicle discussion's forum.

OK back to the farm. Got the trench dug and footings poured today. No it was not cold, the next door neighbour has bees and once we backed the cement truck in all hell broke lose. Bees will pick up on vibrations. We were all covered in bees and had to run like mad and jump in the trucks. I eventually started a fire and smoked them up a bit and also once the bees got use to us they seemed to settle down and leave us alone.
I will have to track down the bee person and have the hive moved. Pouring 8''x 4' 10'' walls on Tuesday morning.

Walls are done, I just need to run the electrical conduit in the morning and then start backfilling. Lots of stone to go inside so I"m starting with 2'' crusher run then about 6'' of clear on top.
