Mag ride *Possibly* on constraint for new 2022 allocations

All of the constraints are showing on Facebook as dealers are posting up the Workbench screen shots:

I'm curious what the constraint "non-Z51 performance package" refers to? You can't order a C8 without the Z51 package? That would be strange...

I think it was 2020 or 2021, but at the end of the MY they gave the large U.S. dealers a ton of allocations after the last allocation date
And I think Spencers got at least another late as well. So you never know.

Just a thought, but here is where 1100 status could come into play. Perhaps the three large CDN dealers only had one order without Magride. GM would know that if they queried the database for that info.
BTW, Just so you know, 2000 is accepted by GM and a promise to build. We have seen options removed from those orders, but at 3000 the parts are ordered and available so every 3000 order will almost certainly be built. So if your order is at 3000 you have nothing to worry about as mag ride, if ordered, will 99.9% be on your car.

you mean they didn't get any for the entire 2022 or the last allocation of 2022?
What he said , is they did not get a memo , saying , if they were to get or not anymore Vettes , for 2022 model year. He spoke to the person who orders them and he also said he has not heard anything about, not getting, anymore 2022s. They said, did not even get allocation numbers either.

My C8 22 just arrived at dealership, picking it up on Thursday.. Mag ride good...
Happy to hear you finally got the replacement C8- hopefully no more trans problems!
However, the question here is whether mag ride is available if GM were to accept your order as of now, or how long will the delay be

Mag-ride availability is hopefully going to be resolved soon! Otherwise it will be a tough decision to make. I will be ordering a non-Z51 car, so without mag-ride the suspension will not be able to be adjusted for height. Might not matter, then again it might lol. I expect my call in late May, so we'll see where this goes.

On a side note, does anyone know if the GT2 seats are any more "butt friendly" than the GT1 seats? In other words, do they soak up any more or less suspension vibrations? Is it worth spending the mag-ride money on upgrading the seats to get a ever so slightly better ride?

I think the seats feel the same. the most comfortable ride is base c8 with no mag ride and no z51

If you look at the seat bottom, you will notice that the GT1 is the same as the GT2. The back rests are different. A mag ride equipped car would have a more comfortable ride compared to a non mag ride car.
