A lot of us left the BBQ a little early looking at radar. 30 miles out it didn’t look good but it had pretty much broken up by the time it got to Winnipeg.

Bic

better to be safe then sorry.. Corvettes don't dent but windshields can be broken

I just wanted to mention it so you keep alert as your enjoying the hot weather and maybe don't even think about this.

Your dream to make this (MITM) a reality and CCM put together a great effort to make it a truly fun weekend.
Can't say enough to Bernie & Bev for their hospitality.
I hope that Ken, Barry, dan and Andy didn't have too much left over. A whole week of left over smokies and burgers might not sit well on the stomach LOL
Great meeting all you guys and gals.
Hope to see the group picture in jpeg soon. I want a print of it.

Derek! Really not too sure what to say, in a good way!!! :D
Words are a bit inadequate. Thank you so much for pushing this event forward, and all your time and effort to make it happen. And all those who also helped with tasks and organization to do it went as smoothly as it did. The Corvette Club of Manitoba were fantastic hosts. I really enjoyed the event. Kudos to you guys.

a few pics of the caravan and to center of Canada sign

Sure I’ll let you know Andy... but the matching boots come with the car. Just be glad the car is not yellow, blue or red.
That beer 🍺 was so tempting. I would have been perfectly happy cutting into it with you. Would have cut the time down to 1 1/2 or 2 days of drinking it. Unfortunately I had to rush off to the real world again.
The upcoming mountain cruise is always a good one yes. Put that 15 footer in a trailer and haul her out. The guys will look after you no problem.
Likely a beer or 2 in it for you as well.

Had a great time chatting and laughing with you Andy.

Derek.

I just want to take a moment to thank all of the CCF member's who took time to travel to Winnipeg for this event. Some of you drove great distances for sure. All of you were super and I enjoyed setting things up from my end for you guys. I would do it all over again in a heart beat.. I'd love to see this event grow to some big numbers down the road, it has the potential.
All of you were great, many thanks to Derek for coming up with the idea. Great job Derek. You're a true gentleman.

Jeff thanks for being one of the 2 judges for the car show. You did an awesome job presenting the awards.
I hope you've settled down from your ride along??

I picked up a couple of accessories on Saturday for my Vette, but I couldn't keep em, sigh....

Hmmmm both great cruise destinations Baron but does anyone relish the thought of our cars on a Ferry. It's much like trying to open a door in a Sea Container... Not us I would worry about. It's the 2007 Chevy pickup that's beside me...lol...

What's to worry about is the way they pack them in. If you get any rough weather things could rock & roll. Not to our benefit.
Nice to think about though. Cape Spear is just outside St Johns. Furthest point east in North America.
Might be hard to get the guys from either end to travel that far. That's two weeks of continual travel, from either end, with a break at in the middle at the meeting point.
Wayne might be stuck with us LOL Can't say enough about our reception there. He even brought in LOVERBOY for my entertainment on Thursday
Need more guys from the east next time. A poor showing with just Jim & myself

Hi Richard, we'd be happy to have you guys back here every year. It was my pleasure to welcome you to Manitoba, just living up to the slogan on our license plates "Friendly Manitoba".
The LOVERBOY at the Casino venue was a very good concert, one of the better ones I've been to, ok I haven't been to all that many. It would be nice to see a bigger Eastern group showing. Until next time..........
