Great news

I thought you said that your salesman said the car was built December 20 and was just waiting to be delivered? Was it instead just accepted by GM at that time?
No , just spoke to him. He said it is built but delivered in May. He said it could be because of the summer tires from the Z51 package but he is guessing. I have my VIN number.

That, to me, signals Quality Control Hold. Summer tires has absolutely nothing to do with it.

What does that mean exactly? They picked mine out at random?
No, they run about 800 tests when the car comes off the line. If they find an issue they put a QC hold on it. Did you get a status code? a QC hold will have 4B00 status code. That means it's "Bayed" (as in parked in a bay). That can mean awaiting delivery or a QC hold. We have seen 4 month QC holds. While holds that long are rare, they do happen.
Code 4B00 ORDER BAYED; VEHICLE IS WAITING ON TRANSPORTATION OR PULLED FOR QUALITY CONTROL

My salesman , says , it is a mid May delivery and it is fully built with a VIN number. Which I have. Build date was 20/12/2022. I called Conciergerie but no answer yet about what is going on.

A vin and built means nothing.
4B00 is way beyond 3800.

No nothing about 4B00. Would the salesman get that code?

Absolutely! You want the code to be 4000.
Edit: remember that the delivery date that he sees is an estimate. It's up to JCT to pick up a car within 10 business days. IF it's available to ship.

I just emailed him and let s see what he says. Hopefully it is 4000. Now let s see what else is going to happen about my C8! What else can go wrong! :Banghead:
I wouldn't say anything went wrong. A May delivery may work in your favour weather wise. If it's sitting in a bay they will fix anything that is wrong with it. They do not release any Corvette from the factory that isn't 100% as far as they can tell. I'd bet that the May date is deliberately far away to make sure they have plenty of time to fix any issues.

I like, that you are giving me, positive info because I am a negative kind of person. I prefer thinking the worst, so I do not get too disappointed . ;) It gives me more time to sell my C8.

You were right , it is 4B00. :Banghead:

On the bright side, like I said, the May date is just an estimate. It could be fixed in a week and on it's way after that. The longest QC hold I've seen is 4 months, but that was in the 2020 model year. It was waiting for a tranny I believe. Now parts delays could be an issue, but I'd wager it won't be held longer than a month. Keep your chin up. It will arrive and in your driveway for the summer.

I told you GM hated Québec. ;) :D
