Very helpful person. I mentioned my order number, and target production week. I asked him when it is projected to come off the line, and if it had a VIN yet. He responded in literally a few minutes.
Let me know how you make out! 👍
Would Shane only have information relative to museum deliveries, or would he have access to all order numbers that are pending? I have my order number and I was told my car goes to build May 06th, so would he be able to provide me any updates?

Hi there. The 2019 Z06 that I ordered (also a 3LZ but in Torch Red) is not a Museum Delivery. I ordered mine out of Wills Chev in Grimsby, Ontario, and it will be delivered there. Based on my experience, it appears he has info on all builds - I just supplied him with my Dealer ID code and Order Number. 🙂.

I just hope that when our vehicles are delivered, GM honours the incentives that were available at the time the car was ordered.
Based on what their site says, the incentives require delivery by a particular date. That being stated, I don't expect that GM will reduce incentives as sales have not been good on the Corvette.

Maybe you will have it in time to drive it before winter sets in _ LOL!

Shane is cool eh?? Replies super fast. Glad he could provide you with the info!

I am hoping before winter!!!!! Shane was saying that the car could be held for up to 2 weeks if it is randomly selected for a quality check.

Ideally I will get it by mid-May. That is when I told the dealership I would give them my 2006 Z06 as a partial trade.

Hard waiting eh. It will be an awesome ride - enjoy. Pics when you get it.

Thanks!
I went with the Torch Red (my ‘97 was Torch Red). Was flip-flopping between black and silver too. I hope I made the right call with the red. 😄.
Red will be great. For me black with black wheels, red brake calipers and red seats; but, hey your choice will be super. My first vette - 79 was red with red interior & black tinted roof panels - was used car. 96 was pewter, 03 was white and current car shark skin grey metallic and I liked them all.

Other than my current choice (red with black interior), I was contemplating black with red interior, or silver with red interior. I shied away from silver this time as the one I am trading in was silver.
Super choice! Pics when it arrives. Have a great Easter week-end.

Well, today when my dealer looked into my Z06 order it still showed a build date of May 06th, however today they received three new C-7's from the factory on the transporter at 2:00pm. They were only expecting two new Corvettes so all eyes were on this mystery third Vette!

When they opened the door cover panel and noticed the colour "Long Beach Red", they then pulled back the front fender cover portion to see if it was a Z06, which they confirmed it was! Mystery solved, this was Peter's car.

So I'm a little shocked, and although I ordered this car October 04th, right from the get go I was advised not to expect the car until late April to early June. Two weeks ago I was told I had a build date of May 06th so when I got the call at 4:00pm today advising me my car was in the showroom, I was a little bit in shock. Our roads are still heavily laden with winters remnants of sand, salt and pot holes, so my car will stay in the showroom, covered (hands off) for about three weeks or so.

Anyhow here are a few picks.........(my car is the lower car on the carrier with drivers door exposed, and the photo of the two guys ..are salesman and General Manager )
