Unfortunately ... They are all the best candidate .... BEFORE the election ...

Just like giving Bob Rae a chance way back when .... then he screwed every union worker in Ontario ...

And lets not forget pizza face Mc Dougie calling an election to further enrich himself and boost his own ego ... trying to convince the people of Ontario that he stands a snowball's chance in hell against Donnie ... Right now Trump is laughing at everything that is Canadian thanks to the idiots that are in power right now .... 200 million to facilitate a provincial election ? I'd be way happier if they took that money and donated it to CCF ...

Yes, Carney. AFAIK He was appointed by JT and was not an elected politician. He is saying a lot of different things than JT. He is not pushing any particular agenda other than his own.
Anyway,
It sounds to me like you are adamant that the PC's are better then the Lib's period end of story and not willing to listen to the other side. Heck, even the NDP should be given your attention. Of course they all have their flaws. But in the end it's the one / party that has the most liked platform that should win.
I'm not pro anyone right now. I do have my opinions, but they can be changed if I hear the right things.

I haven't heard any of them saying they'll get rid of the lux tax to make newer cars less expensive. Maybe we could afford a ZR1 then.
Anyone come up with a moniker for "lux" similar to the GST "Gouge and Screw Tax"

In my opinion, a good percentage of Canadians likely do not, or are not financially able to purchase $100,000.00 and up vehicles, and honestly, if they are financially able, the luxury tax is more of an irritant to complain about than a road block to their purchase. If you can afford $100,000.00 but can't afford $110,000.00, then maybe you should look at your standard of living and buy a $99,000.00 or less vehicle instead. I am more concerned with what the government spends our taxes on. If it is going to something that is a legitimate benefit to the entire country, I'm more at ease with that, than something like paying for certain party member's family vacations at $200,000.00 a pop (actual).

There is and always have been arguments or discussions if you prefer regarding whether it’s better to vote for the candidate or the party. On the one hand there is something to be said about voting for the candidate who you prefer and may well be the best on offer in your riding from a competency standpoint which is understandable but if the opposing party wins Federally hold your breath when it comes to funding announcements benefiting your area . And don’t forget Carnival has been personally advising Trudeau for years now. What we would get from him would be more of the same although perhaps even more extreme. I’m afraid that it doesn’t look too promising regardless of which party wins though. Very disconcerting.

Answer me this is a car more of a luxury than a Boat, I personally I don’t believe it is, so why does the Lux tax on a Car start at $100K when a Boat starts at 200K, same as all governments No Common Sense.

Answer me this is a car more of a luxury than a Boat, I personally I don’t believe it is, so why does the Lux tax on a Car start at $100K when a Boat starts at 200K, same as all governments No Common Sense.

A decent private salt water fishing boat, not a luxury liner, cost a minimum of $100,000. Hell, a motor alone with a few accessories will run you around $50,000. If you want a little luxury $200,000 is a cheap boat. Here's one that doesn't look near as luxurious as a $100,000 Corvette.... Price? A mere $885,000.00.

It does look cool.... I was at a fishing lodge on the west side of Van island couple years back and I had the pleasure of having the owner as my guide. His 35 foot fishing boat had 2 -350 HP Suzuki motors on it. Covered cabin with heat and a bathroom. Even had a defibrillator although we didn't need to use it. Didn't ride as well as my Vette though...

So is this the day for the big Tariff shakedown by Mr. Trump? I hear a lot of from our government that we're ready and aggressively going to fight back, but much like all politicians, they're not saying how they propose to do that. Trump just keeps saying and doing stupid things... I'm thinking it's only a matter of time and even his republican lackeys and their supporters will start to see the dimwitted light at the tunnel's end. I can't keep from thinking back about how, in such a big world, 4 inches would have avoided all this grief.
